Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Quan Ba Heaven Gate is a stunning and picturesque location in Ha Giang province, offering breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, and villages. A highlight of Quan Ba Heaven Gate is the Twin Mountains, also known as the Fairy Breast Mountains. These two round hills resemble a pair of breasts and, according to legend, were left by a fairy who fell in love with a Hmong man but had to return to heaven.
A stop at the checkpoint will last about 20-30 minutes.
Yen Minh - From 11:00 – 12:00, lunch is served in Yen Minh Town, featuring rice, meat, egg, and vegetables. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
Viewpoint dốc Thẩm Mã (trên) - The Tham Ma pass stretches about 5 km at an altitude of 1500 meters, featuring a sharp zigzagging road. At the top of the pass, a checkpoint offers the opportunity to capture photos of the winding s-shaped road. Ethnic minority children often wander here with flowers.
A stop at the checkpoint will last about 20-30 minutes.
Dinh Vua Mèo - The Hmong King Palace in Ha Giang is a historic site that served as the residence of the Vuong Dynasty kings, who ruled over the Hmong ethnic people in the early 20th century. Constructed between 1898 and 1903, the palace combines Chinese and Hmong architectural styles. It features 64 rooms, 10 buildings, and 3 courtyards, adorned with images of sacred animals. A stone wall surrounds the palace for protection. The Vuong family amassed wealth and power through opium trading and formed alliances with both French colonialists and Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionaries. Recognized as a National Historic Landmark in 1993, the palace is now open to tourism.

Dong Van Ancient Street - After a day on the motorbike, guests will stay at Dong Van ancient town. Located in the center of Dong Van and surrounded by rocky mountains, the town is renowned for its centuries-old houses, vibrant highland markets, and lively festive evenings. As a cultural and commercial hub of Dong Van town, it offers cafes, restaurants, homestays, and souvenir shops. The ancient town showcases a strong Chinese architectural influence with red lanterns and images of sacred animals like dragons, phoenixes, turtles, and cranes, symbolizing power, longevity, wisdom, and peace.
Dong Van Ancient Street - From 18:00 – 19:00, dinner is served in a restaurant, offering options like chicken hotpot or rice, meat, egg, and vegetables. Vegetarian options are available upon request.

Nho Que River - Flowing through Ha Giang Province, the Nho Que River offers a stunning view of the Tu San Canyon and the Ma Pi Leng Pass. It is a popular destination for adventure and nature lovers seeking to appreciate Ha Giang province’s beauty and diversity. A boat trip along the river to admire the scenery takes about 2 hours, including a journey down the river and up the mountain.
Meo Vac - After a busy morning, lunch is enjoyed in Meo Vac Town before taking another road back to Ha Giang city.

The tour schedule is curated to provide you with an optimal glimpse at the Ha Giang Loop without being overly hectic or tiring. Your journey commences on Day 1 in Ha Giang city, from where you will be driven to Dong Van. The subsequent day, your adventure continues as you drive along Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s most breathtaking roadways. A boat expedition on the Nho Que River and Tu San Canyon, the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia, is also included. If your tour happens on a Saturday or Sunday, consider visiting a market town where various ethnic groups exchange their wares and livestock before 11 A.M. The tour concludes with your return to Ha Giang city around 4–5 PM.
