HA GIANG CITY - QUAN BA - YEN MINH - PHO CAO – SUNG LA - DONG VAN TOWN

Ha Giang Province - Enjoy breakfast before embarking on the Ha Giang loop adventure.

• Checkpoints: KM 0 Milestone, Bac Sum Slope, Quan Ba Heaven Gate. Pause to admire the panoramic view of Doi Mountain and Tam Son Town.
• 12:30: After crossing Can Ty pass, explore scenic spots like the solitary trees and Van Chai cliff, followed by lunch in Yen Minh town.

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - At 13:30, continue towards Dong Van, visiting Tham Ma pass, Pho Cao village, Sung La valley, and Lung Cam cultural village, rich in H’Mong ethnic culture. Explore “Pao’s house,” Tam Giac Mach field, and Moon rock field in Sa Phin village.

• 16:30: Visit the Vuong family’s mansion (King of the Hmong people) to appreciate the H’Mong culture. As the day ends, experience the architectural blend of H’Mong, French, and Chinese cultures.

• 18:00: Check into a hotel or homestay for rest.

• 19:30: Enjoy dinner, then explore Dong Van old town and savor street food at the night market.

DONG VAN TOWN – MA PI LENG PASS – NHO QUE RIVER – MAU DUE – DU GIA

Ma Pi Leng Pass - At 8:30 am, after breakfast, visit the legendary Happiness Road, the stunning Ma Pi Leng Pass, and the picturesque Nho Que River.

• Checkpoints: Ma Pi Leng monument, the challenging road to Death’s snout and Dinosaur’s spine. Walk the sky path for a breathtaking view at the pass’s base. Enjoy panoramic views and scenic spots at the pass’s summit.

If it’s a Sunday, you’re in luck! Visit the large minority market in Dong Van.

Depart after breakfast, driving through the Dong Van Plateau, a UNESCO Geopark, offering breathtaking views.

Arrive in Lung Cu, where a massive flagpole marks Vietnam’s northernmost point. From the top, view the mountains of Vietnam and China.

Nho Que River - Take a boat ride on the Nho Que River to witness the highest Tu San canyon in Southeast Asia, a natural wonder unique to Ha Giang.

Meo Vac - At 12:30, have lunch in Meo Vac Town. Continue the journey from Meo Vac to Du Gia, enjoying scenic views and winding roads through endless valleys. Checkpoints include M pass shooting location, Mau Due, and Lung Ho.

• 17:00: Arrive at Du Gia commune center, check into a local homestay in Du Gia village, enjoy dinner with Tay cuisine, and savor corn wine, affectionately called “happy water.”

DU GIA – DUONG THUONG village LUNG TAM – QUAN BA – HA GIANG city

Du Gia - At 8:30 am, after breakfast, explore the village, bathe in Du Gia waterfall, then head back to Ha Giang city.

Du Gia is a tranquil, lesser-known village in Ha Giang, primarily visited by travelers completing the Ha Giang loop in five days or more. Its serene, untouched beauty, surrounded by majestic mountains and rice paddies, is complemented by the warm hospitality of the local people.

On the final day of the Ha Giang Loop tour, return to the starting point, Ha Giang City, completing the loop. Enjoy more stunning views and pass through numerous minority villages.

Lunch is midway in a village.

The landscape gradually changes, revealing more rice fields, including terraced ones.

Return to Ha Giang city around 16:00.

Lùng Tám - Stop to admire and visit beautiful scenes: Duong Thuong valley, Lung Tam weaving village.
Lunch is at Tam Son town - Quan Ba, returning to Ha Giang city around 17:00. Relax and refresh at a hostel or homestay.
