Memorable Ha Long Bay cruise during a special occasion - We had a wonderful, memorable and relaxing 3 days/2 nights Ha Long Bay tour on the Emperor Cruise boat. We highly recommend this boat if you have a little bit of wiggle room in your budget as this boat only has 10 rooms and so you would feel less congested with the few guests on board. This boat is very luxurious and the service from the staff is very personal and superb. They would take excellent care of you and are very diligent about your special requests. We surprised my wife by requesting before hand during the booking process that it was going to be her birthday when we board and we wanted a small celebration with cake and the staff singing the happy birthday song to her after dinner. However they turned the evening into a wonderful memory and occasion as they set up our dinner on the upper deck with just me and my wife. The other guests were at the main dining area on the lower level and we were by ourselves on the upper level. They had a wonderful set up for us with our very own butler/server. After dinner the staff surprised my wife when the dining crew including the chef and the captain of the ship all went up to our table to sing and wish her a happy birthday and presented her with a bouquet of roses and a large cake. My wife cried tears of joy during that occasion. The crew made the event extra special. The cake was so good, we took the leftover cake back to our room and proceeded to consume it over the 3 days we were on this ship. We very highly recommend the Emperor cruise boat and its wonderful staff for helping us celebrate my wife's birthday and for the wonderful service that they provided throughout the journey.

Must book experience! - This cruise far exceeded our expectations! The queen stateroom and entire boat were beautiful, spa treatments, excursions, and meals were great, and the crew was absolutely fantastic. Some of the best hospitality we encountered on our trip to Vietnam. Definitely book this if you’re coming to Ha Long bay.

Wonderful experience - This tour was outstanding, the organisation, the staff who personalised the service to make you comfortable with any adjustments you may require. The staff is attentive and careful. Thanks to Quang, Karen, Jenny, Thuan and others. Finally the food is excellent and easy to match with good wines if you like. My experience was absolutely outstanding.

Sailing Ha Long Bay...3 days on the Emperor - We really enjoyed our 3 day, 2 night visit. All the staff was incredible and bent over backwards to ensure we were well fed and well taken care of. Karen our cruise director was excellent in answering all of our questions, Anya was the sweetest and was so helpful accompanying us on all of our daily excursions. She happily shared her knowledge and ensured everything ran smoothly. Thuan, our bartender kept us hydrated...loved the happy hour cocktails and ice cold Ha Long beer. The food was incredible....we never expected each meal would be so many course and so delicious. Chef Nam outdid himself. We definitely checked off many Vietnamese specialties off our list. Our favorites were the Crab Farci and Duck in Orange sauce. I tried jellyfish in a salad for the first time! We loved the activities, kayaking to a private beach, and being able to go through openings in the Islands was so neat. The bike ride to a village was so beautiful and scenic. We were surprised by a fish pedicure! I would stay away from the snake wine offered at the village....not our favorite. The ship was elegant, decorated in 1930s decor. Our room, Saigon, had an amazing view looking out our huge window. We enjoyed sipping tea and coffee every morning from our sitting area. We enjoyed the 3 day vs. the 2 day. I feel we got more out of the area and were able to relax.

Beautiful and relaxing cruise - We had a wonderful experience on this cruise. The ship is very comfortable and elegant. The crew is amazingly attentive and efficient, and very welcoming and friendly. Many thanks to Ms. Hong, Mr. Quang, Mr. Diu and all the others who made our journey so enjoyable. And of course, Halong Bay is breathtakingly beautiful, definitely a must do at least once.

Better than Envisaged by miles. - We had a Royal Suite which was almost perfectly Opulent. Wonderful living space. Great, Curtained Four Poster Bed. Excellent food with great choices. Hard to detail everything but it is a must do trip and as one would expect in Vietnam, the most wonderful gracious service for any part of whatever you do. Try it and enjoy!

Amazing 3 days in Ha Long Bay - Our trip in Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay with Emperor cruises was amazing! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. The literary was a good balance between down time and activities - and the views were unparalleled. We stayed in the King room and the setup was ideal with our own private balcony. We also very much enjoyed the food (although there was too much!). Highly recommend using Emperor cruises if you are considering a Ha Long Bay cruise. ❤️

Memorable Luxury Experience with incredible scenery - A truly memorable experience. From the moment you are arriving on the Ship, the team welcomes you with all their heart. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, the bathtub is amazing. The views and scenery is something hard to describe and keep you in awe. The food is delicious and freshly prepared with many options, they are very flexible in adapting to your needs. The staff goes above and beyond, all of them are amazing, special thanks to Thuan for doing the best cappuccinos I have ever had in my life, his friendly and attentive way of being is so unique. I recommend staying at least 2 nights. There are many activities. The gym on board was a nice plus. Superb wine list by the bottle. The manager Huan is an incredible host that makes sure everything works to perfection. We will come back

Disappointing - this is a 3 star experience at best. Accommodations and food were 2 to 3 star. Service - outstanding - We expected much better cuisine since we were in Vietnam - worst meals of our 8 day trip. Bathroom smelled like sewage. Toilet seat was loose - almost fell off. Sink clogged Service and staff were excellent ..
