Excellent cruise, lovely staff, beautiful rooms and amazing food - Excellent cruise. The boat is perfect, not too big leaving room for an individual experience. The staff is very caring and especially Karen, Duy, Mabel and Chi took excellent care of us. The tours were perfectly organised and very informative. The rooms are beautiful und the food has been amazing!

Best way to experience Halong Bay! - Overall amazing experience! The cruise has a lovely old money interior design, rooms are spatious and clean with floor to ceiling windows that allow for all day enjoyment of the views beautiful halong bay has to offer! The staff is very friendly, attentive and open to explain all questions. The day trips are unique experiences, especially the tour guide Duy delivered a fantastic tour with a lot of information about Vietnamese culture and history. A lot of effort is put into the tours to prevent crowds. A highlight is the small private beach where we were brought to swim and the Kajak tours around the cave. Food was excellent, very advanced high level cuisine both Vietnamese and western, each dish was a work of art. Overall great experience, hugely recommend !

Wonderful exclusive cruise with great activities and plenty of relaxation - The trip was amazing on a beautiful boat with loads of character and beautiful art and antique interior. The food was a combination of vietnamese and european cuisine and everything was delicious. The service was excellent and we were taken daily tours with knowledgeable tout guides including a secluded beach just for us. Karen, Duy, Mabel and Chi were 5 star hosts! I can highly recommend this cruise for families or couples who are looking for a more exclusive experience away from the big crowds and noisy partying.

Amazing Cruise! - The cruise was an amazing experience. The food was very good, the perfect mix between asian and western cuisine. The day trips were extremely enjoyable. The tour guide, Duy, was very informative and kind. He gave us a lot of insights about the local lifestyle and cultures. The facilities within the cruise were flawless. The bathrooms were clean, the rooms were spacious and beautifully furnished. We are extremely happy with this experience and would definitely recommend it!

Unforgettable experience in Ha Long Bay - This experience was like no other. They truly love what they do and continually strive to improve. The dressing up for dinner in attire of the the era and the the outfits for the Vietnamese version of Tai Chi in the morning are the book ends to an exceptional itinerary that challenges you to ride bikes and kayak in the most picturesque environments as well as visit local villages to learn about the current culture. They also provide time for solitude and the sound proof rooms block out the noise and allow you to experience a ride from the times of the last emperor of Vietnam. Many pictures on board to browse plus a piano, guitar, board games, and books. The food is outstanding on the boat. However, it is the staff who go out of their way to make you feel like royalty that make this tour exceptional. You see mostly 5-6 people but there are about 10 behind the scenes that make the experience unforgettable. We want to point out the ones who most interacted with us and went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Thanks to Mabel, Dai, Duy, Will, and Chi for an unforgettable experience.

Ha Long with Emperor Cruises - A really lovely relaxing stay on the Emperor! First time for us on a mini cruise. All the staff were incredibly welcoming friendly and attentive. From 6:15am Vovinam sessions to start your day, to breakfast, to excursions, cookery classes and squid fishing, their detail of knowledge incredible. With some happy hour drinkies on the top deck thrown in for good measure pre-dinner. The food was outstanding. A mix of authentic Vietnamese which we absolutely loved and more western style dishes. Everything super tasty. Excursions were good, very busy at times, and although we often prefer to do our own thing, we were happy to go with the flow. The team do try and take you to places in the less busy times. A special mention to Will, Mabel, Chef Nam, chi Tooi (vovinam master) who made our stay extra special. It was a smaller quieter boat in comparison to others docked, which was much more preferable.

Memorable Ha Long Bay cruise during a special occasion - We had a wonderful, memorable and relaxing 3 days/2 nights Ha Long Bay tour on the Emperor Cruise boat. We highly recommend this boat if you have a little bit of wiggle room in your budget as this boat only has 10 rooms and so you would feel less congested with the few guests on board. This boat is very luxurious and the service from the staff is very personal and superb. They would take excellent care of you and are very diligent about your special requests. We surprised my wife by requesting before hand during the booking process that it was going to be her birthday when we board and we wanted a small celebration with cake and the staff singing the happy birthday song to her after dinner. However they turned the evening into a wonderful memory and occasion as they set up our dinner on the upper deck with just me and my wife. The other guests were at the main dining area on the lower level and we were by ourselves on the upper level. They had a wonderful set up for us with our very own butler/server. After dinner the staff surprised my wife when the dining crew including the chef and the captain of the ship all went up to our table to sing and wish her a happy birthday and presented her with a bouquet of roses and a large cake. My wife cried tears of joy during that occasion. The crew made the event extra special. The cake was so good, we took the leftover cake back to our room and proceeded to consume it over the 3 days we were on this ship. We very highly recommend the Emperor cruise boat and its wonderful staff for helping us celebrate my wife's birthday and for the wonderful service that they provided throughout the journey.

Must book experience! - This cruise far exceeded our expectations! The queen stateroom and entire boat were beautiful, spa treatments, excursions, and meals were great, and the crew was absolutely fantastic. Some of the best hospitality we encountered on our trip to Vietnam. Definitely book this if you’re coming to Ha Long bay.

Wonderful experience - This tour was outstanding, the organisation, the staff who personalised the service to make you comfortable with any adjustments you may require. The staff is attentive and careful. Thanks to Quang, Karen, Jenny, Thuan and others. Finally the food is excellent and easy to match with good wines if you like. My experience was absolutely outstanding.
