- Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - 10:00 - 10:30 am: Upon reaching Hanoi, our guide will escort you to the Ho Chi Minh complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the final resting place of the cherished national hero, Uncle Ho (note that it may be closed on certain days). You will also visit President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, where he resided intermittently from 1958 to 1969. This significant building is situated in the center of Ba Dinh Square, where Ho, Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Vietnam from 1951 until his passing in 1969, proclaimed the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Also known as Ba Đình Mausoleum, it is open to the public.
- One Pillar Pagoda - The next destination is the One Pillar Pagoda, a collection of structures forming a pagoda built over water in the center of a square lake.
- Temple of Literature & National University - Continuing the tour, our vehicle will transport you to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, dedicated to Confucius. Văn Miếu, meaning Temple of Literature, is a temple honoring Confucius in Hanoi, northern Vietnam. Established in 1070 during Emperor Lý Thánh Tông’s reign, it housed the Imperial Academy, Vietnam’s first national university, from 1076 to 1779. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Hanoi City.
