• Halong International Cruise Port - 07:30 - 08:00 am: Upon arrival at Halong Cruise Port, please proceed to the port’s outer gate to meet our driver, who will be holding a welcome board with your name. You will then embark on a car journey to Hanoi city, which takes approximately 2 hours via the expressway.
• Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - 10:00 - 10:30 am: Upon reaching Hanoi, our guide will escort you to the Ho Chi Minh complex, which includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, the final resting place of the cherished national hero, Uncle Ho (note that it may be closed on certain days). You will also visit President Ho Chi Minh’s stilt house, where he resided intermittently from 1958 to 1969. This significant building is situated in the center of Ba Dinh Square, where Ho, Chairman of the Workers’ Party of Vietnam from 1951 until his passing in 1969, proclaimed the Declaration of Independence on September 2, 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. Also known as Ba Đình Mausoleum, it is open to the public.
• One Pillar Pagoda - The next destination is the One Pillar Pagoda, a collection of structures forming a pagoda built over water in the center of a square lake.
• Temple of Literature & National University - Continuing the tour, our vehicle will transport you to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, dedicated to Confucius. Văn Miếu, meaning Temple of Literature, is a temple honoring Confucius in Hanoi, northern Vietnam. Established in 1070 during Emperor Lý Thánh Tông’s reign, it housed the Imperial Academy, Vietnam’s first national university, from 1076 to 1779. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Hanoi City.
• Lake of the Restored Sword (Hoan Kiem Lake) - Afterwards, you will stroll through the Old Quarter, experiencing the vibrant daily life of this bustling city en route to Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as “Sword Lake” in English. This area is the heart and soul of Hanoi, where the commercial streets of modern Hanoi intersect with the ancient 36 streets and numerous alleys filled with temples, pagodas, and lakes.
• Temple Ngoc Son - Guests will also visit Ngoc Son Temple, located in the center of the tranquil lake, a notable temple situated on a small island. This sacred temple, along with other architectural features, forms a historical complex that has been a source of pride for Hanoians for centuries.
• Hanoi Train Street - The final stop is Train Street, where you can take photos, enjoy coffee or tea, and experience the lively atmosphere of the area. Hanoi Train Street is a unique and popular attraction in the heart of the city.
• Halong International Cruise Port - After visiting Train Street, guests will board a car for the return trip to Halong Cruise Port via the expressway. After a 2-hour drive, guests will be dropped off at the port gate, marking the end of the day tour.
