Going Above and Beyond! - We booked this HaLong Bay cruise through Zgo Travel and from the minute we contacted them through their website on WhatsApp, Ricardo was super responsive and answered all of our questions. The price he quoted included all fees and VAT as well as transfers from our hotel in Hanoi to our next stop in Ninh Binh and it was better than we could have secured by doing it ourselves, and a lot less hassle. We were booked onto the Aqua Luxury boat and it was beautiful! The bed was huge and very comfortable, the bathroom so spacious and included a bath beside the window. The staff were very friendly, and the food was amazing. Honestly it felt very luxurious and we didn’t want it to end. To top it all off, I accidentally left some belongings on the boat. Ricardo was so helpful in arranging for my belongings to be brought to my hotel in Ninh Binh and asked for nothing in return. Amazing service! Thank you also to Mrs Rose with the Aqua boat team who chased up my lost possessions for me too. 10/10

Amazing trip - The trip was amazing! The 5-star cruise was luxurious, clean, and had stunning bay views. The food was delicious, and the staff were super friendly. I loved watching the sunset from the deck and kayaking among the limestone cliffs. Truly worth every moment.

Amazing - Great, relaxing experience, the views were incredible, the staff was incredibly kindand the food was incredible. Only thing to note, this is more of a couples cruise as it has an intimate setting.

Excellent Friendly and Professional Service. - The van very comfortable, luxury, good air conditioning and very friendly driver. They gave us a bottle of water. They make a stop halfway. The trip, even though it's two hours, gets short. The road is curious, with many rice paddies and different areas.

luxury cruise - I just went on a 2day 1night luxury cruise in Halong Bay, the scenery was absolutely stunning. The cruise was luxurious, my room have a private balcony overlooking the bay, a comfy bed and a clean. It was truly relaxing. One big highlight was the food fresh seafood, delicious Vietnamese dishes, and beautiful presentation. The staff were also friendly and professional. I especially enjoyed the sunset on the deck with a glass of wine - such a chill moment. However, the schedule felt a bit rushed. The time for visiting Surprise Cave and kayaking was quite short, so it felt like I couldn’t fully enjoy the experience before we had to return to the boat.

Luxury, calm, and stunning views - The boat was beautiful - sleek, clean, with a nice open deck where I spent most of my time. My room had a big window facing the sea, and waking up to the view of limestone cliffs and mist was something else. Quiet, almost dream-like. The food was nicely presented, portions decent, it was good enough. At night it was very quiet - no loud parties or activities, which for me, traveling alone, was perfect. I just sat on the top deck with a tea, watching the stars and the gentle waves. Kinda felt like time paused for a bit. If you’re traveling solo and need a little reset in nature, without doing something super intense, this is a great option. A bit of luxury, a lot of calm. I left feeling lighter.

Great Service, Good Food, but Major Room Disappointment - Great Service, Good Food, but Major Room Disappointment We chose this boat specifically because, according to external listings (TripAdvisor), we believed we were booking a room with a private balcony. Unfortunately, the room we received led to a significant compromise of our experience. The Room Issue (Top Deck, No Privacy) We were allocated a cabin on the very top deck, which, critically, did not feature a private balcony. Compounding this, the room was situated directly on the main thoroughfare leading to the front viewing area and the sun deck. This meant people were constantly walking past our window. Furthermore, being located right next to the sun deck (behind the bar), we could hear music and general noise, which impacted our ability to relax fully. Our biggest frustration was the privacy issue: since anyone walking by could easily look directly into our room, we were forced to keep the blinds down throughout our stay. This essentially negated the entire point of booking a cruise with scenic views, as we had no use for our window and felt completely shut off. We also only had a very small pane that could be opened. The Positives Despite the room situation, the service and onboard experience were exemplary. The staff and crew were very friendly. The food was very good; the meals were rich and abundant, ensuring everyone had more than enough to eat throughout the cruise. Conclusion If you can confirm a cabin with a truly private balcony or a room away from the main deck thoroughfare, this is an excellent cruise thanks to its dedicated staff and great food. However, based on our top-deck room experience, we cannot recommend that specific room location due to the total lack of privacy and inability to enjoy the view.
