100% would recommend Cathedral Cove Kayak Tours! - We had an amazing trip - we were blessed with a beautiful day and smooth sea. Our guide was able to talk about the history of the area and even made us lattes when we stopped off at Cathedral Cove! We explored the shoreline and saw stingrays and then went out the the islands. Would 100% recommend!

If you’re thinking about going, DO IT! Breathtakingly Amazing. It should be a crime not to go - This was a phenomenal tour. It was like home run after home run. Beautiful location, stellar staff. Shoutout Hayden our guide. If there is a Mount Olympus for outdoor adventures, then Hayden is sitting atop it. Paddle in hand, eyes scanning the horizon like a demigod of the waterways. From the moment we pushed off, it was clear this wasn’t going to be your average kayaking tour. No. This was a full-blown hero’s journey through the untamed beauty of NZ, led by a guide who doesn’t just know the sea, he commands it. Hayden wasn’t just knowledgeable, he was a walking, paddling encyclopedia with the soul of a poet and the confidence of a seasoned adventurer. Every cove had a story. Every rock had a name. Every seal, bird, and breeze seemed like they were in on some ancient script, written just for us. He didn’t just guide us—he orchestrated an experience. There was a moment where the sun hit the water just right, and a pod of dolphins appeared on the horizon and I swear to you, it felt like Hayden summoned them. I don’t know if he’s human or half sea-spirit, but whatever he is, you want him on your tour. So here’s the truth: if you’re even thinking about kayaking and you get a chance to book do it. Drop everything. Cancel your plans. Forget Disneyland. This is the real magic. This wasn’t a tour. It was a saga. And Hayden? He’s the legend that made it unforgettable. 11/10. Fabulous - 10/10 all round- Jarrod is very professional and the scenery speaks for itself-3 hours is enough time to experience Hahei/ Mercury Bay Cathedral Cove cool and so is going through the rocks and wee tunnel.

Customer orientation at its best! - Astonishing tour! Great organization, easy communication via WhatsApp, paddling made for everyone, relaxing stop at cathedral cove with tea and cookies, lot of information on Cook, Tasman, Māori, marine reserve park from the guide, we saw stingrays just beneath our Kajak. Family activity - It was great, with two kids aged 8 and 9. Possible activity for a single parent, which is not everywhere. The coffee was delicious!

Highlight of our North Island trip - This was an excellent activity - a real memorable highlight of our 3 week trip around NZ. The kayaks were stable and easy to manoeuvre and the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended.

Amazing scenery, knowledgeable and friendly guides - 10/10 - Even though the ocean swells didn't allow us to go to Cathedral Cove, the guides took us to caves and showed us some great historical and beautiful places that we'd never have seen otherwise. We loved it!
