Wigmore Crescent
Check in for the tour is 20 minutes prior to your departure time at the south end of Hahei Beach. Park at the free day parking area on the grass down Wigmore Crescent, from here walk to the end of Wigmore Crescent (2 mins) and down the beach access-way. Look out for our white gazebo.

Great trip - Great trip. Starts with Cathedral Cove and then just gets better. Excellent guide very friendly and knowledgeable. Small boat so can get into places bigger boats can't. Good fun, highly recommend.

Fun Family Day - We took our visiting family out on the Hahei Explorer boat trip and it ended up being the absolute highlight of their trip! The scenery along the coastline is incredible and seeing places like Cathedral Cove from the water was something really special. The skipper was fantastic; super knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun while sharing lots of interesting information about the area. Our whole group loved it; from our 3-year-old right through to the 60-year-old. It was the perfect mix of sightseeing, adventure, and learning about the beautiful Coromandel coastline. If you have visitors in town or just want to experience the coastline from a different perspective, I’d highly recommend Hahei Explorer. Such a memorable experience!

Not to be missed boat tour!!! - This is a not to miss boat tour. Amazing sites to see, caves, blowholes and ride below a fault line!!! Our guide Tim was incredibly knowledgeable about the area. 100% recommend.

Exhilarating experience - What an amazing experience, highly recommend. Booking process was straightforward and Hahei Explorer Team were flexible in allowing me to amend booking. All communications were clear & concise. On arrival at the beach we were greeted by lovely girl ( sorry forgot her name) & the gorgeous Maple her golden retriever/ red setter cross. Life vest on, shoes off & dry bag provided we got aboard and were introduced to Scotty. The next hour flew past as Scotty expertly navigated through small tunnels / caves all whilst providing a really informative explanation of the volcanic activity that has produced this stunning coastline. The boat fits 10 passengers and can travel at high speed providing an exhilarating ride. Book this trip you won't be disappointed.

Highly recommend this amazing tour 🙌 - We were in awe and wonder at the beauty of the coastline for the entire 1 hour tour . We met a playful seal and fish along the way. We went through a sea cave to a blow hole!

Scenic boat tour - Super was the small group of 8 people on the boat. It had a strong wind and the captain adapted the route to the circumstances, because if not, then I would have been the foremost teeny-weeny. He told fun facts, which made us all laugh.

Great experience - Great experience, a good mix of travelling and sightseeing, a short spurt to a cove or a cave. Great views and commentary. Well worth the dollars. Great communication and easy to change due to weather conditions.
