Amazing experience - We went with the good tide and saw so much beauty….overwhelming. The boat is comfortable and Ash the guide is a local with a wealth of information. Be prepared for change in weather / temperature. I highly recommend this tour.

Spectacular!!! - Awesome experience!!! The skipper was kind, helpful and full of info and we can't recommend him enough. He was easy to find at the Wharf and parking was relatively easy on the street leading up to it. The scenery is spectacular! He took us inside many sea caves, found us a school of snapper to feed, and dropped us off for a quick swim to Cathedral Cove, then picked us up on the other side after we walked through and got our pics. (No ladder on the boat; he pulled us up over the side.) It was bumpy at times (expected on the sea), and while that was a smidge uncomfortable, we felt very safe. It was my favorite tour after 2 weeks in New Zealand, both islands.

Awesome trip with cool skipper. - We had an awesome trip with Sea Cave Adventures. The skipper was a really nice guy who told a lot about the area, nature and history. Our kids had a really good experience. This was defiantly one of the highlights of our trip so far.

Fantastic tour and awesome guide! - We had an amazing time with Sea Cave Adventures! It was a very personal small group experience. Ash was an awesome guide and noticed my son had brought binoculars (he's a huge bird watcher). When Ash found out my son was into birds, he took us to several spots where we could see them! The boat was very comfortable and small enough to get right into the caves! We got up close and personal with some amazing caves for incredible photos. Ash also gave everyone the option to hop in for a swim or snorkel. This was definitely a highlight of our trip and we highly recommend you check them out!

A Superb Trip - This tour was amazing! In spite of a weather forecast of bad weather, the Coromandel really turned on the good weather for us. Ash has lots of experience on the water and was a superb captain and host. He was able to tell us a lot about the history of the region from pre-colonial times. The caves we got to visit were just out of this world. I don't think you can really get a sense of the majesty and diversity of the region without seeing it this way. It was also the only tour boat we saw that didn't have a canopy so we could get amazing pics looking upwards from inside some of the caves. Magical!

10/10 experience - Amazing day on the water with Shona and Ash. Got to snorkel with massive schools of Kahawai and followed dolphins around a baitball for ages. Got to see baby dolphins breaching. Shona and Ash are so informative and such chill people. Awesome experience and highly recommend to anyone!

Wedding Anniversary Treat - Must do adventure, Ash was so knowledgeable of both Maori and European history we learnt so much about the Coromandel not to mention the amazing views, this boat goes inside the caves and you see so much more. We will be back next year to see the northern end of the coast which we are very excited about. Awesome adventure! A must try. - We may not able to access the Cathedral Cove, but we are so glad that we booked Sea Cave Adventure that we were able to see it and explored the other beautiful caves and islands around Coromandel Peninsula. It's totally fun and worth it, a must try adventure. Ash, your the best!
