• Trung Trang Cave - Situated just a 10-minute walk from the Park Headquarters and 1 km south of the National Park’s center, next to the road to Cat Ba Town, Trung Trang Cave is one of the largest and most representative caves in the Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve. Spanning approximately 300 meters through the heart of a limestone mountain, the cave features countless stunning stalactites in a variety of fascinating shapes. Previously, it was called Hung Son Cave, named after the young man from Cat Island who assisted the king in fighting the An invaders. During the war, the cave was repurposed into a military hospital, hence the name Quan Y Cave (Military Medical Cave).
