Setting Sail on Lan Ha Bay

As a digital nomad, I often find myself seeking out unique experiences that offer both adventure and tranquility. Lunch was served on board, and it was a delightful surprise. The meal included a generous portion of rice, fresh seafood, and perfectly cooked vegetables, all prepared on the boat. There were also options for chicken, as well as Muslim-friendly and vegan dishes upon request. Sharing this delicious meal with fellow travelers at a table for six added to the sense of camaraderie and community.

As the day came to a close, we returned to the jetty, arriving right on schedule. The tour delivered on every promise, and the timing was impeccable. What stood out most was the absence of other tourists in Ha Long Bay, giving us the feeling of having the entire bay to ourselves. It was a rare and cherished experience that I will carry with me for years to come.

Hang and Kong, our guides, played a significant role in making the day memorable. Their experience, humor, and friendliness added a personal touch that made all the difference. It’s not often that you find guides who genuinely enhance the experience, but they certainly did.
