Standing at an impressive 160 feet, this remarkable monument is a testament to the island’s rich Buddhist heritage. Conclude your morning with a visit to the Hummanaya Blow Hole, a natural phenomenon that never fails to amaze visitors with its powerful display of nature’s force.
“Fun tour and friendly and helpful driver - Sujith was the best guide and driver. He picked us up from our accommodation in Tangalle right on time with a big smile and took us on an amazing adventure to the Mulkirigala Rock Monastry and a beautiful waterfall for a swim and a king coconut. At the Monastry he helped us with directions and made sure we saw all the important parts and great views. His driving was very safe and the tuk tuk was spacious and comfortable. We had great conversation and Sujith always stopped to show us interesting animals we passed like peacocks and batts. It was a great day trip that I would recommend to anyone in the Tangalle area! Would also recommend Sujith’s tuk tuk services in general for any trips in Sri Lanka :)” - Reviewed on 2024-12-12
