Incredible Hambantota Safari Jeep Tour - We had an amazing safari jeep tour in Hambantota! From start to finish, everything was well organized and smooth. Our driver was experienced, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the wildlife and the park. We were lucky to see elephants up close, along with peacocks, deer, buffalo, and several beautiful birds. The jeep was comfortable, and the driver made sure we had the best viewing spots while respecting the animals and their space. The scenery was stunning — open grasslands, lagoons, and peaceful natural surroundings. It truly felt like a real wildlife adventure. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Hambantota area. A must-do experience for nature and wildlife lovers! 🐘

Great safari trip - We booked the janaka safari and it was a great and unique experience. Our driver Su did a great job in driving us around and finding the best spots for a high chance of seeing a lot of different animals. Also, he is very good connected to other guides in the park and has a lot of experience. Pick-up from the hotel, provisioning throughout the day and drop-off at the hotel all went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this safari!

A magical experience with Janaka Safaris - Our experience with Janaka Safaris was extraordinary! From start to finish, we were blown away by the abundance of wildlife in the park. We were incredibly fortunate to see leopards, elephants, and sloth bears, along with crocodiles, monkeys, mongoose, deer, water buffalo, and countless bird species. Our guide, Su, was exceptional. His knowledge of the park and its animals was unparalleled, and his deep understanding of animal behavior and body language set him apart. Unlike some other drivers we saw, Su was cautious and respectful, always ensuring we avoided dangerous situations while prioritizing the well-being of the animals. One of the best parts of the experience was Su’s flexibility. He gave us the option to either explore the park independently or stay in touch with the other jeeps. We highly recommend trusting Su’s expertise and going solo if you want to avoid the chaotic rush of jeeps trying to get a glimpse of animals. The solo approach allowed us to observe wildlife in a peaceful, natural way and leave the park feeling good about not causing unnecessary stress to the animals. The meals (breakfast and lunch) were delicious and you have time in the middle of the day to rest and have a bathroom break. The day ended with a magical sunset over the lake, where we debriefed and shared some final laughs - a perfect conclusion to an unforgettable experience. If you have the time, opt for the full-day safari. The extra time allows you to be patient, soak in the surroundings, and wait for the animals to come to you (if you are lucky). Janaka Safaris is an absolute must for anyone visiting Sri Lanka. Trust Su, enjoy the incredible wildlife, and leave with memories to last a lifetime!

Perfect Day - Had such a wonderful time! Great Safari experience with my driver Su! Honestly, the best driver!! Made sure we were in the front of the line entering the park. Safari like afrika - It was a pleasure With ish the best guide in the park. We was evrytime the First, by the animals. We saw 3 lepards. Best Tour in Sri lanka

Take your time for choosing the operator which fits to your expectations. - I was not satisfied with this tour at all. There was no Briefing in the Morning. The driver, like the most others from other operators rushes from one Point to the next. Allways in hurry. You have to expect big Traffic jams, when a Highlight like bear or leopard is seen. I recommend to clarify in advance want you want See and how your Tour should run, than you are aware of Bad experiences.

Cheating - We were charged 3 times by credit card ( twice for my card and 1 for my wife’s card because the guide said ours transaction didn’t work) so our friend pay for us with his card. This wasn’t acceptable and the guide in that day cheated us . I strongly do not recommend this tour for their dishonesty!
