Nice evening your - Relaxing, interesting, unexpected to see all of the beautiful houses along the canal. Boat was great for viewing.

Pure deceleration - So far, we have only ever made harbour tours during our visit to Hamburg. This time we booked a canal trip. We were on board 20 minutes earlier (the small ship departs at the Jungfernstieg and also arrives again) and were greeted friendly. During the leisurely trip we got to know Hamburg from a completely different side, we drove along winding canals, saw the Hamburg city park from the water, marveled at hundreds of canoes that have been "casually thrown down" lining the shore since the Hamburgers came to appreciate this sport in the Corona era, took a look at chic villas, rowing clubs, small gardens... on the day of our trip there was also a canoe regatta, which was also interesting to watch. It was an exciting and informative two-hour tour during which our good-humoured captain gave a lot of information about the tour. On an overcast, somewhat foggy late autumn day, driving through the canals of the Alster covered with autumn leaves creates a very own, somewhat enchanted and fairytale atmosphere...time seems to have stopped. Drinks and small snacks could be picked up at the counter, and there was also a toilet on board. I can well imagine doing this tour again in a few years.

The Charm of the Canal - A great tour. Didn't understand what they were saying but I took the ride for the scenery. Met a couple who were very friendly.

IT WAS SO GREAT!!!! - It was just great!!! We met Jörg and Dieter. One of them was sailing and Dieter provided us with drinks. Whatever the other skippers say, Jörg mastered it brilliantly. His seaman's yarn made everyone smile. And,... until today we didn't know that Hamburg has such beautiful natural canals. Holidaymakers at the harbor, visit the Alstersteg and go on board. It's really worth it!!!!! Not all water is created equal!!!! We will repeat this tour!!!!

Hot ride without drinks! - The ride itself was very nice. But at over 30 degrees in a glass case , where the elderly and families with children are, not having drinks is very short thought. The excuse "with a shortage of staff" is no use! It's a miracle that nobody collapsed!

Good trip, but no English - There was no English commentary. Boat ride was good. Good scenic views. Plenty of Photogenic spots. Lovely views of the Canal and bridges.

Sadly the lack of ventilation in vessel, spoiled the ride for me and my friends. - We picked this activity because the threat of rain was in forecast, but we still wanted to do some touring of City. Boat is fully enclosed and they just have small operable vent type windows at roof line. It is a shame because ride quickly became very loud and stuffy with heat and small children crying, yelling and banging. Also the engine fumes hung in the air in sections we had to go slow, due to narrowness of channel. There was a small open section in back of boat but filled very quickly. I really enjoyed where tour went and seeing the area from that prospective. Just would have loved it if sides of vessel were completely open or at least more operable, to be have better air movement in summer weather. They had some roof skylights I wished they had opened, could have helped, even with light drizzle of rain we had.

Experience to forget - We took a two-hour canal trip to Hamburg with bar service for 35€. The boat was very hot and you could hardly breathe. The commander spoke only German and all indications were in this language effectively excluding all non-German people. The bar did not serve and the commander made the announcement only in German and so those who understood it went down to buy some water the others did not. Also the much-hyped audio guide via Wi-Fi did not work and therefore no explanation in English we had to hear two hours of German I would add that in the end he also asked for the tip (!) that we did not give because deeply dissatisfied. I would avoid doing it is not worth it under these conditions.

No considerion for English speaking tourists.s - The tour was advertised with English audio. The tour guide gave the entire tour in German. We could not connect to the audio and we were not offered headphones or even a sentence in English to accommodate us although we complained to him. We therefore gained no knowledge or information from the experience.

Don’t go on thus trip - Dont go on this cruise the driver was unhelpful and arrogant. The English translation did not work . He couldn’t care less . He spoke fluent english but couldnt care I repeat do not go on this trip
