The unsung hero of early aviation! - Unless you’re into aviation, you likely never heard of Glenn H. Curtiss. A contemporary of the Wright Brothers but less widely known (or credited). This transportation museum is a must-see if you have a few hours ti spare.

Educational walk through aviation. - A very educational and interesting visit. There were so many restored bicycles, motorcycles, automobiles and planes. Highly recommend the hour long movie detailing the life of Glenn Curtiss. Plenty of space to take your time and stroll. Don’t miss the machine shop to see what is being restored.

I learned so much! - We’ve talked about visiting this museum for years. I had no idea there was so much to see here, and such a fascinating story behind Glenn Curtiss, his inventions and achievements. The film was long but completely fascinating and made the exhibits even more meaningful. This was part of my birthday trip, and a memorable experience.

Eye opening - Curtiss vs Wright brothers - Incredible museum and actually dispelled all of our childhood beliefs about the first flight. Amazing man! Elon Musk of the past. Well worth the visit. the 1 hr long movie was extremely well done and sets the stage for the museum. Wish we could have learned this in school.
