Fun and informative tour.... - Fun and informative tour. Even in the rain we were able to pick our own tea leaves and see the mixing process. Forrest was a great host and gave us a lot of information about the history of tea in China and Hangzhou.

Forest's English guide is easy to understand and very... - Forest's English guide was easy to understand and we had a great time! I learned a lot about the process of making Ryujing tea and the recent situation of tea production. Also, the beautiful tea plantations in the terraces are amazing! They dropped us off at the desired location and we were comfortable on the train.

Authentic, Local, Green Tea Experience - This is a very local and amazing experience! Forrest was a phenomenal tour guide. He picked me up at the train station, and chauffeured me to a tea farm about 30 minutes away. at the farm, I was able to wear traditional clothing, pick tea leaves and process the tea leaves. The green tea here is phenomenal and I think I’m converted into a tea drinker. The only reason I would deduct 0.5 stars is because it seems a little sales pitchy at the end. During the tea tasting the woman leading the tasting was trying to sell me on medicinal green tea tablets for health which I was not at all interested in. I did end up purchasing loose leaf tea which was quite expensive but it can last up to 5 years in the freezer.

Great guide, beautiful plantation - Forest is a very energetic and knowledgeable guide with a comfortable car. He was very flexible when we asked for some adjustments. The tour was great, it was a lovely experience to pick the tea in the beautiful plantation and meet the professional picking ladies. Strongly recommend booking with Forest and he can tailor make a whole tour for you anywhere in Hangzhou!

Good service with very knowledgeable tour guide. - The trip was amazing. We had Mr. Forest Gan as our personal guide. His knowledge about Hangzhou and Chinese tea made the trip even more interesting. We definitely recommend this tour for those who wanted to learn about Hangzhou and Chinese Tea especially Longjing green tea.

Wonderful trip to tea fields - Super nice experience visiting tea business not too far from Gangzhou! We were picked up at the hotel by Forrest, who speaks excellent English, is super kind and knows a lot about the area here. We were able to go into the fields to pick some leaves - then learned how to roast them, followed by tasting some excellent fresh green tea. Would definitely recommend!

Amazing experience for tea lovers - Amazing experience! I can truly recommend it for those who are interesting in the story about tea and trying the original Hangzhou green tea. I had very sympathic driver Forest, who sopke amazing English and was very talkative and friendly. We are very happy we had this opportunity to be part of this Asian adventure.

The best tour in town! - The tea tour with Forest was hands down one of the best things that we did during our trip in China! Forest was the best guide who provided an extremely authentic and honest insight into Chinese culture and history which was so fascinating. Forest is extremely knowledgeable on tea culture (including both the production and tea history) and is also an extremely friendly guide with a brilliant command of English. On the tour we managed to learn how Chinese tea is made from root to source (quite literally as we picked our own tea leaves in the field!) and the influence that tea has on Chinese culture. Amazing!!

Poor organization - Not very happy with this experience. On the morning of the tour we prepared and waited for the guide forward the Hotel but he did not arrive. After contacting her she said that the tour could not be done (without notifying and having already paid the cost of the tour). After our complaints the guide Gerri showed up very nice his explanation but even there he did not know the slightest what we had paid for. We've done half the things listed here. Overall bad organization. It gave a lot of the feeling of grip by the bottoms. I do not sincerely recommend it.
