It is regarded as one of the top ten ancient Buddhist temples of China.
- Meijiawu - Then, your guide will escort you to the Meijiawu tea village, which is one of the main production bases of Longjing Green Tea. Surrounded by hills, it is filled with lush tea trees, whose fragrance will refresh your mind.
- West Lake (Xi Hu) - In the afternoon, you will have a sightseeing boat tour to the beautiful West Lake, the landmark of Hangzhou. You can enjoy the charming lake, embankments, pavilions, and pagodas. Whether it rains or not, you can view the distinctive beauty of West Lake for it will glittering under sunshine, and be permeated with mist in the rain.
- Pagoda of Six Harmonies - After that, you will go to the Six Harmonies Pagoda, located at the south of the West Lake, which is one of the best preserved ancient pagodas with wood and bricks structure in China. Because of its height and location, it is now the best place to admire the Qiantang River.

Great day trip to Hangzhou - We had a great day trip to Hangzhou and managed to see lots in one day. The bullet train tickets were all organised for us, which made the journey very easy. We visited the Pagoda of Six Harmonies, Lingyin Temple, took a boat ride on West Lake, and explored Hangzhou’s old streets. Our guide Samantha was very sweet and friendly, and shared lots of interesting stories about Hangzhou and the places we visited.

Hangzhou, China is a gem! - This is our 2nd trip to China. Last year we visited Beijing, Xi'an, Chengdu, and Shanghai and wanted to explore more of China. We visited 5 more cities and found Hangzhou to be a gem! Don't miss touring beautiful West Lake and take a boat ride on the lake. Jill, our incredible guide, took us to Meijawu Village Nana Family's Tea House, for tea tasting with our lovely hosts. My husband and I had a wonderful time learning about the different teas and how to properly prepare them. A special treat was lunch at the Green Tea Restaurant. The food and surroundings are amazing! Another must see in Hangzhou is Lingyin Temple. it's a site that is totally captivating. We are so very grateful to Jill, who answered all of our questions in perfect English, and took very good care of my husband and me. We totally recommend a visit to Hangzhou!

A fascinating day in Hangzhou - I had a one day solo tour with Eleven in Hangzhou. We took a boat ride on the lovely West Lake, then visited Lingyin Temple and 6 Harmonies Pagoda. We had a delicious lunch at a noodle restaurant, then saw an old traditional Chinese pharmacy, and we went to a bamboo forest. It was a very busy, very interesting day! Eleven is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I think you will very much enjoy spending a day with him in Hangzhou.

Hangzhou, nature and culture - We had a beautiful two-days tour in Hangzhou.
Thanks to our guide Carina (very knowledgeable and kind) we first discovered the nicest views of the West Lake and its park.
Then Carina led us in exploring the wonderful Lingyn Temple, where she also explained the main principles and the philosophy of Buddhism.

Interesting temple and tea village - Lingyin temple and tea village were very interesting. Visited a tea farmer’s house to learn all about growing and preparing tea, which was also interesting. West Lake is pretty, but not a must do. Did not go to the Six Harmonies Pagoda even though description says it is part of the tour. Our guide Susan was really nice, knowledgeable, and spoke excellent English. She was not aware that we were supposed to go to the pagoda.

Hangzhou Tours - Tim is a very good tour guide, an excellent English speaker. We were all enjoyed the places in Hangzhou under his guidances. He took good care of us at the high speed train station leaving from Hangzhou to Suzhou
