Pamper Package - We had a wonderful time. Started with a revival massage. The therapists were awesome and very knowledgeable. After massage we went into the relaxation room for a lovely peppermint tea. Then into the pools. We were in the pools for nearly 3 hours. Thank you so much for your hospitality

Awesome spot - Perfect spot for a soak and relax after a tramp. Lots of space and variety of pools for everyone. Great to have adult only pools too. A shame they’re not doing late nights anymore!

Nice spot to relax for the day. - Nice spot to relaxe for the day. Bring your own towel, otherwise you have to rent one. Enough pools that we could find a quiet area. Restaurant on site.

Best 50th - Great way to spend my 50th birthday, a massage with my wife side by side. Bath robes and towels supplied from spa package. Then a walk around the spring pools and there were so many choices. We drifted to the hotter ones, 42 degrees was the best. The sulphur ones were nice with less smell than the Hells Gate one in Rotorua.

Excellent facilities - The Thermal pools are very family friendly. Very professional lifeguards and friendly staff. I particularly liked that there was body wash available in the changing room showers so you can feel super fresh after a relaxing time in the pools. Usually taking the kids to the pool feels like chaos but we all had a relaxing time. Plenty of fun to be had on the water slides where the water is also warm. Making our booking was very easy and very quick entry and access to the pools. Big thanks to Ollie who was very helpful and made us all feel very welcoming. A must do activity when in Hamner or a great day out activity in winter from Christchurch as it's not too long a drive.

Must visit - Friendly, wonderful service. Great time even in the cold and a welcome stop off on the way up north to Auckland. Cafe was awesome. Pools were amazing. Food was ample and coffee great.

Lovely hot thermal pools - Lovely facility. Lots of different pools to choose from with a variety of temperatures. Changing facilities clean. Able to shower and dress before traveling on.

- A visit here is a mini-holiday. Perfect on a sub-zero frosty evening. There weren't many people there and we were able to choose a pool to ourselves and enjoy the sunset over the treetops. Remember to bring footwear to wear between changing room and pools because the path is very cold in winter.

Hot pools in the rain and snow - Weekend is probably not the best time to go along as there is a lot of children climbing in and out of pools. Peace and quiet is shattered, also if it’s raining it gets very crowded in pools. We were lucky to have a snow flurry, which was beautiful. Towel hire is pricey and they are very thin. Showers are nice and hot and there is ample room in change rooms.

Disappointed - Positive feedback-clean pools and surrounding area plus plenty of lifeguards so felt safe at all times. Negative feedback - showers cold and intense pressure to the point of uncomfortable, cold air in hair dryer. I didn't expect a cold shower in thermal spa despite waiting ages for it to warm up. Paid 80 Dollars for a couple a bit steep tbh.
