Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - Visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his former residence, now a museum documenting the life of Vietnam’s revered leader and national hero.
Temple of Literature & National University - Next, explore the Temple of Literature, which houses Vietnam’s oldest university, established in 1070 AD. Dedicated to Confucius, sages, and scholars, the temple features a vast structure with tranquil gardens.
Hoan Kiem Lake Walking Street - After lunch at a local restaurant, the afternoon is spent exploring Bat Trang, a local pottery village. Around 15:30, the driver will return to the city center for a walk around the picturesque Hoan Kiem Lake. Cross the charming bridge to the serene Ngoc Son Temple on the lake’s island. The area is surrounded by stunning colonial architecture, offering sights in every direction. After the lake tour, return to the hotel to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Hanoi - Sapa (B/L/D)
Ta Van Village - After breakfast at the hotel, the driver will transfer you to Sa Pa, arriving around 12:30 PM. Upon arrival, the tour guide will welcome you and take you for lunch at a local restaurant.
Begin the journey from Sapa with a walk to Lao Chai village. Enjoy views of Muong Hoa Valley, featuring stunning mountains and expansive rice terraces.
Meet people from various ethnic minorities (H’mong, Zay, and Red Dao) along the route, with stalls offering tea, fruits, and sweets for refreshments.
Leave the main road to take a local path, experiencing the local life of the Black H’mong upon reaching Lao Chai village. Continue walking to Ta Van, where the Zay people will captivate you. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay with a local family in a homestay.
This day includes a 7-10 km trek.
Sapa - Hanoi (B/L)
Giang Ta Chai Village - After breakfast, embark on a 3-4 hour trek along buffalo paths and trails to Giang Ta Chai Village of the Black H’mong. Relax at the foot of a stunning waterfall and see the remnants of a hydroelectric power station built by the French during colonial times.
Return to Sapa town for lunch at a restaurant, with the afternoon free until 15:00. Then, drive back to Hanoi, arriving at the hotel around 20:30. This day includes a 7-10 km trek.
Hanoi – Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)
Halong Bay - On the fourth day, depart for Ha Long Bay at around 8:00-8:30 for a 3.5-hour drive to Hong Gai Tourist Wharf. Check in at Oriental Sails JSC’s private waiting hall, the OS Lounge, and relax until embarkation around 12:30-13:00, followed by a quick briefing. Spend the first few hours on-board enjoying views of Bai Tu Long Bay’s limestone islands and savoring a delicious lunch. At 15:30-16:00, choose between two activities:
Option 1: Fishing village visit
Learn about local life in the bay with a 45-minute bamboo rowing boat trip around Vung Vieng fishing village, one of the largest in Ha Long Bay. The village is set inside a closed lagoon, surrounded by mountains, offering great photo opportunities and a cultural experience.
Option 2: Beach and kayaking
For active travelers, take a small boat to Ban Chan beach to sunbathe, swim, play volleyball, or try kayaking in the bay’s magnificent setting.
Return to the cruise around 16:30, with time to relax before sunset. At 17:30, enjoy happy hour at the sun deck bar, watching the sunset with a drink, and participate in a cooking class with the resident Chef.
Dinner is served at 19:00, followed by an evening of socializing, night squid fishing, or relaxing. Enjoy singing and dancing activities until 22:00.
Overnight on-board with the ship anchored in the Cong Do Area of the bay.
Ha Long Bay - Hanoi (B/L)
Thien Canh Son Cave - Early risers can enjoy a 30-minute Tai Chi session on the sundeck at 06:30, followed by breakfast while cruising towards Thien Canh Son Cave. Arrive at the cave at 9:00 AM and spend about half an hour exploring this medium-sized, less-visited cave in Bai Tu Long Bay.
After the cave visit, check out of your room on the boat and return to port, docking at noon after an early lunch on-board. The driver will be waiting at the pier to transfer you back to Hanoi, arriving at the hotel around 16:30. Bid farewell to your guide, driver, and group, leaving with cherished memories and new friendships.
