Solid Choice for Ha Long Bay - We had a wonderful 2-night, 2-day cruise in Ha Long Bay, and overall it was a truly memorable experience. The absolute highlight of this cruise was the team, led by the director Harry, who genuinely went above and beyond to make sure every guest felt welcome, comfortable, and well taken care of. You can clearly see how hard they work, always with smiles and a positive attitude. The ship itself is in good condition—clean, well maintained, and comfortable—though it’s not brand new, which didn’t take away from the experience at all. The food was good and satisfying (not over-the-top gourmet, but enjoyable and well prepared), and there was always enough variety to keep meals pleasant over the two days. Cruising through Ha Long Bay’s stunning scenery while being supported by such a dedicated and caring crew made this trip special. The service and hospitality truly stood out and are what make this cruise worth recommending. I would absolutely do this cruise again, mainly because of the fantastic team and the overall relaxed, enjoyable experience. If you’re looking for a well-run cruise with great people and beautiful views, this is a solid choice.

Great 2 nights cruise. - The staff and places we visited were wonderful. They went out of their way to make us feel part of their family. The cabins were very comfortable. The activities were varied and well balanced in time. We recommend this cruise.

A wonderful way to discover one of the most beautiful places on earth! - This trip was an absolute dream come true. Pick up from Hanoi was easy and we were handed over at the Port to our main guide, who took us over to the boat. The boat was beautiful, really good condition, with lots of public space where you could enjoy the amazing views. The food - especially for lunch and dinner, was exceptionally good and varied. Lunch would be a diverse, generous buffet and dinner a multi-course meal with delicious flavours. Be aware if you are traveling solo, you will be given a small individual table of your own at meal times. As an introvert, this suited me, but I think some people may feel a bit self-conscious about this, though of course you can make friends and team-up with others if you are sociable! My cabin was gorgeous - with huge window and little balcony, just as pictured. Also a wall window in the shower. Be aware, when the boat is anchored, local salespeople may row up to right by your window to try to sell local crafts... so your bedroom or shower may not be quite as private as you think - especially if you are on the lower level! The actual sites were incredible - I've never been surrounded by so much stunning beauty, 360 degrees. Mid March, I was lucky with very good weather, though I believe the week before, it had been all foggy. I had been worried it would be over-crowded, but most of the cruising, we had totally clear views or just one or two boats in the distance. At night, all the boats collect in one area, so it's a bit more crowded, and there was one island we visited which was extremely crowded, but mostly we had plenty space to enjoy the peace and quiet and the amazing views. The activities were extremely well organised. I'd say you could fit in the essentials with a one night tour, but the two nights gives you time to relax and visit more sites. Also gives you the better chance of getting a great weather day. We kayaked twice, had two swimming opportunities, visited three very different caves, and climbed to two different stunning view points, and visited some of the 'King Kong' rocks - along with the general cruising. Can recommend this without reservation...

Amazing!!! - 🌟 Incredible Ha Giang Loop Experience with Lila Tours! 🌟 Just finished the Ha Giang Loop with Lila Tours, and it was absolutely unforgettable! Our guides were not only skilled and safe drivers but also incredibly friendly and fun, making the journey even more special. They took us to breathtaking off-the-beaten-path spots that most travelers never get to see, from hidden waterfalls to stunning mountain viewpoints. On top of that, they captured amazing photos for us along the way, so we could fully enjoy the moment without worrying about the camera. If you’re looking for the best way to experience Ha Giang, Lila Tours is the way to go! Highly recommend

Excellent! Well worth the price! - I did the cruise with my wife and 5 year old daughter. We were picked up and dropped off in the old quarter of Hanoi. The cruise was excellent and just as advertised. The food was good and the activities a lot of fun. Drink prices on the boat were reasonable/normal restaurant rates. Water in the room is provided and the bottles can be refilled on the boat. The communication from the room pickup until the drop-off at the end was very good and well organized. The head tour guide Tom/Thang did an excellent job as did all the staff. They were very friendly and helpful, especially since we were traveling with a 5 year old. I recommend the add-on ride in a speedboat. The cruise isn't exactly cheap but very much worth the price. I worked in hotels for a number of years and the cost is very reasonable and good value!

Lovely cruise with well run company. Do the extra night! - Very well organised and very clean and comfortable rooms and we got a 2nd floor room with balcony and bonus jacuzzi. Tom and the rest of the Staff were very attentive and helpful at all times. Wide variety of dishes to cater for all tastes. We did the 3D2N cruise so the second day you transfer to a day boat to go to some of the quitter remote destinations and again the crew were lovely and guide Hoi was brilliant. Our stay concided with Christmas Eve and they put on a lovely dinner with Santa as the special guest!

Beautiful scenery! Shabby accommodations - The photos of the boat are deceiving. It is pretty shabby. But the crew was attentive and the excursions were well organized with military-precision timing. The food was mostly over-cooked but edible. The one complaint I had is that during the "happy hour," the younger crew brought out a large speaker. They blasted their hip hop music, which essentially caused most of the guests to scatter. The music was too loud and the lyrics were too offensive.

Not the best - We stayed on Athena Luxury cruise and we can't say a bad word about the ship and staff. However, tour is advertised as being wheelchair friendly, which isn't the case at all. My partner has somewhat limited mobility and couldn't do most of the tours even though we were under the impression she would have been able to. Don't do unless very fit. 1st cave trip was in excess of 700 steps on very uneven ground

Halong Bay Cruise Hunters - extremely unprofessional - The cruise itself is lovely, but Halong Bay Cruise Hunters are unprofessional and borderline rude. Once the money was paid they were unresponsive and non-committal for what service would be provided. Every time I chased them for details so I knew how to plan my trip they told me to cancel the trip (this happened multiple times). They took money for pick up & drop off to/from Hanoi then told me they wouldn't drop me and my party to our hotel and suggested we find our own way from another hotel. This is not because of language barrier. I travel enough in Asia to understand the difference. It's just very poor work ethics, with no regard for customer service or the impact on someone's holiday experience.

Newer again a tour with Halong Bay Cruise Hunters - The customer service was horrible. A simple question was not answered over weeks (!). So we had to cancel the trip and change our rest of the vacation. A lot of work for us.
