• Hanoi Opera House - Over a century old, the Hanoi Opera House (Nha Hat Lon is a national landmark due to its neoclassical French architecture and Gothic embellishments. Home to the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra, the opera house also hosts the Hanoi Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Ballet, and both traditional and modern local productions.

Our tour guide will rendezvous with you at the designated location (or your hotel) and provide a brief overview of the tour to ensure a completely satisfying journey before we commence our expedition.

We will travel down the embankment of the Red River, passing through orchards of guava and plots of vegetables that significantly contribute to Hanoi’s food supply, all the way to Bat Trang’s pottery village. Once there, our guide will lead you through the labyrinthine network of narrow lanes to witness the everyday life of the local residents. During the tour, a halt will be taken at a ceramics workshop where you’ll gain insights into the ceramics-making process and even get a chance to craft your very own ceramic bowl or teacup.

As the tour concludes, our included home visit coupled with a lunch offering will give you an authentic glimpse of rural and urban life. Upon lunch completion, we return to Hanoi.
