Hanoi – Ban Gioc Waterfall - Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave) (Meal: L, D)
Old Quarter - Between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM: Guests will be picked up from hotels or accommodations in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area. Please be ready in the hotel lobby, as the guide will check in with the receptionist for the tour to Ban Gioc Waterfall, one of the four waterfalls located between Vietnam and China, and among the most stunning in the world.
Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - 12:45 - 13:00: Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Afterward, continue the journey to Ban Gioc Waterfall, renowned as one of the world’s most beautiful waterfalls. There will be time to appreciate the breathtaking scenery, and guests can opt for a self-paid boat ride near the waterfall. Situated on the Vietnam-China border, Bản Giốc is the fourth largest waterfall globally, spanning 300 meters in width. The expansive area and diverse falls and pools within the park are mesmerizing. Nestled in a picturesque valley and surrounded by lush jungle, Bản Giốc is a paradise.
Nguom Ngao Cave - After visiting the waterfall, continue to Nguom Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave). The Ngườm Ngao cave system boasts some of Southeast Asia’s most unique stalactite formations. As visitors explore the cave, the formations change with each new cavern. The entire cave system stretches 2,144 meters, but only 948 meters are open to visitors to preserve its natural beauty. Then, return to the bus and proceed to the hotel near Ban Gioc Waterfall in Cao Bang Province. 16:30: Check into the hotel and relax. 18:30: Dinner at the hotel or a local restaurant. Overnight stay at So Oanh Hotel.
Ban Gioc Pagoda – Camping at Angle’s Eye Mountain (Meal: B, L, D)
Chùa Phật Tích Trúc Lâm Bản Giốc - 7:00: Breakfast and check-out. 8:30 – 9:00: The driver and guide will pick up guests from the hotel to visit Ban Gioc Pagoda (Phat Tich Truc Lam Pagoda). From here, enjoy a magnificent view of Ban Gioc Waterfall. Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda in Cao Bang Province is renowned for its beautiful and unique natural scenery. Besides admiring the landscape, visitors can explore many impressive structures. Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda is one of the famous pagodas with a rich history and captivating ancient design. Visitors will experience a peaceful, serene atmosphere and admire the sacred beauty of this borderland site. Afterward, proceed to Angle’s Eye Mountain, featuring a through hole (Thung Mountain, located in Quang Uyen District). 12:00: Lunch en route. Guests will move to the campsite by motorbike or car, as indicated on the map.
God’s Eye Mountain - 15:30 – 16:00: The Cao Bang Camping team will welcome visitors at Angle’s Eye Mountain, assist with tent setup, and store personal belongings. 17:00 - 18:00: Free time to relax, bathe in the stream, paddleboard, or cycle to capture sunset photos. (Activities like stream bathing and paddleboarding are available only during the rainy season, from April to August.) If needed, a hot and cold shower is available 300 meters away. 18:30: Enjoy a delightful BBQ dinner. 20:30: The Cao Bang Camping team will prepare a campfire for guests to gather around, chat, roast corn, and enjoy a glass of corn wine. 23:00: Air mattresses and sleeping bags are provided for a comfortable night’s sleep after a day of exciting experiences.
Mat Than Mountain (Angle’s Eye Mountain) – Hanoi (Meal: B, L)
Mắt Thần Nui - 6:00 AM: Welcome the dawn. 6:30 AM: Breakfast with pâté bread or instant noodles, accompanied by a morning coffee. 8:00 AM: Engage in activities like paddleboarding, bathing, or simply relaxing in nature, depending on personal preference. (Stream bathing and paddleboarding are available only during the rainy season, from April to August.) Then, trek to the top of Angle’s Eye Mountain, a rounded through-going cave approximately 50 meters in diameter and 50 meters high above the lake. The cave’s current altitude is mainly due to recent tectonic uplift movements. It is part of a tower karst landscape at an altitude of 650-700 meters above sea level, featuring karst towers and cones interspersed with numerous lakes, forming the Thang Hen Lake System. 9:30 AM - 10:00 AM: Pack up. 10:00: Return the tent and conclude the camping session.
Old Quarter - 11:30: Lunch at a local restaurant in Quang Uyen District, Cao Bang. After lunch, board the bus back to Hanoi. 18:30: Arrive in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area and drop off guests at their hotels. End of tour.
