Old Quarter - 07:15 – 7:30: The guide and driver will pick guests up from their accommodations in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area or the Hanoi Opera House if outside, and then proceed to Ninh Binh, which is a 2-hour drive.
Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - 10:15 - 10:30: Explore Hoa Lư, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. This visit offers an opportunity to learn about Vietnamese history during the feudal system under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties.
Tam Coc - 11:45 - 12:00: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant featuring a variety of local dishes. At 13:00, embark on a 1.5-hour bamboo boat tour of Tam Coc. The breathtaking scenery includes paddy fields, rivers, clouds, sky, and a remarkable cave system, creating a masterpiece known as “Ha Long Bay on land.” At 14:30, continue the tour with a 45-minute cycling excursion around the village to experience local life.
Mua Caves - 16:00: The final stop is Mua Cave, often compared to the “Great Wall of China.” Climb 500 steps to the top for a spectacular view of Ninh Binh and a panoramic view of Tam Coc.
Tam Coc - At the end of the day, guests will be taken directly to their Homestay/Hotel for check-in, followed by dinner at the homestay/bungalow restaurant. Enjoy free time to relax and observe local life in the village. Overnight stay in a homestay/hotel in Ninh Binh.
TRANSFER NINH BINH TO HALONG BAY DAY CRUISE - HANOI (B/L)
Tam Coc - 6:45 - 7:00: After breakfast, guests will check out of their rooms at the Homestay/Bungalow. A shared limousine bus will pick them up from their accommodation in Ninh Binh and transfer them to Halong Bay for an Overnight Cruise (no guide during transfer). The drive to Halong Bay takes approximately 4 to 4.5 hours.
Tuan Chau International Marina - Arrival at Tuan Chau Marina in Halong Bay is expected between 11:00 AM and 11:30 AM. Guests will wait in the cruise’s lounge for the group and guide from Hanoi.
Halong Bay - Highlights of Halong Bay One Day Cruises:
- 11:30 - 12:00: Board the Day Cruise and begin a 6-hour exploration of the Ha Long Bay World Heritage Site.
- Welcome aboard & safety briefing.
- Enjoy a meal featuring delicious Vietnamese cuisine.
- Kayak or take a bamboo boat ride at Luon Cave (Small Cave) or relax on the boat’s sundeck.
- Visit Sung Sot Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay.
