13:00: Enjoy lunch at a restaurant, then begin trekking to Y Linh Ho. Start trekking downhill through Muong Hoa Valley, passing rice paddy fields and small hamlets to learn about the lives of the hill tribes. Engage in cultural exchange with local people in Lao Chai village. Cook and have lunch with a local family, then continue trekking through villages and rice terraced fields to Ta Van village, home to the Dzay ethnic people, considered the most beautiful in the area. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay with a local family in Ta Van, experiencing a homestay with the Dzay people.
Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Supan – Ban Ho
Sapa Market - Bid farewell to the local family and continue to visit the Red Dzao people at Giang Ta Chai, where a waterfall can also be seen. The Red Dao women wear vibrant red embroideries and coins on their clothing, with a red scarf on their heads. Some women have shaved their eyebrows due to a charming Red Zao legend. Continue along small paths in the rice fields, cross the Muong Hoa River via a suspension bridge, and walk up to Supan. Enjoy a picnic lunch by the stream before proceeding to Ban Ho villages. Leave the road to descend to Ban Ho village. Spend the night with a Tay family who live in stilt houses. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay with the family.
Ban Ho - Su Pan - SAPA - Lao Cai
Sapa Market - Rise early to enjoy the fresh countryside atmosphere. Have breakfast and trek 2km to a beautiful waterfall, discovered and named “the Lavie” by the French during the colonial era in Vietnam. Enjoy a picnic lunch. In the afternoon, trek 4km up to the main road to catch a jeep back to Sapa. Enjoy free time in Sapa town before transferring to Lao Cai for an overnight train back to Hanoi. The tour concludes around 21:00.
