• Hanoi - Participants can select either a Morning or Afternoon cooking class based on their preferred schedule.

Morning class: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Afternoon class: 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM

The experience begins with a short 5-minute drive from the hotel to the delightful Homestay with Scenic View restaurant, located in a serene setting on the banks of the Red River.

Upon arrival, guests are warmly greeted by the hosts and introduced to their family, gaining insights into the local culture and lifestyle. Initially, a tourist guide will teach some basic phrases in the local language over 30 minutes, which will be very helpful for shopping, bargaining, and using the local currency “VND” with the friendly market vendors.

• Long Bien Bridge - Following this, participants will either cycle or walk to the nearby local market, a mere 5-minute journey. This offers a fantastic opportunity to independently explore and purchase local goods, as well as enjoy a diverse array of foods including vegetables, meats, fish, herbs, spices, and fresh fruits. Engaging with locals using body language will surely create fun and memorable experiences.

After returning, participants will prepare and cook Vietnamese dishes under the guidance of the tour guide or household members, from start to finish.

Learning to marinate and spice will be a key lesson, along with the opportunity to learn how to decorate dishes using carrot flowers, lemongrass stems, banana leaves, and carved chili.

Finally, guests will savor their meal at a perfect dining spot with a stunning view of the Red River and the Eiffel bridge (Long Bien bridge) – one of Hanoi’s most iconic landmarks.
