• Chua Tran Quoc - Visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, situated on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. This is the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, constructed in the 6th century.
• Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - Explore the Ho Chi Minh complex, where visitors can view the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh and stroll through the garden to see the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Then, visit the One Pillar Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy, renowned as the most unique pagoda in the world.
  • It is recommended to dress modestly, covering shoulders to knees, when visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, temples, and pagodas.
  • The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
  • The Mausoleum is closed for annual maintenance from June 15th to August 15th, but visitors can still take pictures of the Mausoleum and explore the surrounding area.
• Vietnam Museum of Ethnology - Discover the Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of the 54 ethnic groups residing throughout Vietnam.
  Special Note: If the Ethnology Museum is closed on Mondays, the Women’s Museum will be visited instead.
• Temple of Literature & National University - Proceed to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, founded in the 11th century.
• Hoa Lo Prison - Head to the Hoa Lo Prison Museum, initially used by French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this period, it was referred to by American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton.”
