Kim Ngan Temple - The Hanoitimes - Kim Ngan communal house (No. 42 Hang Bac, Hanoi) is an old architectural and religious structure built during the Le dynasty.
In mid 2011, Kim Ngan communal house became a cultural and performing arts venue when it was chosen as a meeting place for lovers of ca tru singing.

Engaging & Friendly Guides, a Highlight! - One of the highlights of our trip! The two student guides were amazing - friendly, knowledgeable, polite, flexible, and engaging! We quickly became friends and had great conversations. This was such a nice way to have a true cultural exchange.

Amazing introduction to Hanoi - Read the reviews and felt that perhaps they were exaggerated. We were wrong! My wife and I ( both in our late 50’s) were lucky enough to meet Annie and Daisy who not only customised the tour ( they took us to Train st and for some egg coffee) but were brilliant at guiding two first timers in Hanoi around a small part of this vibrant city.
Communication prior to the tour was also top notch with clear updates on WhatsApp.
We left the tour feeling that we had not only had a great introduction to the city but had really enjoyed the company of our two lovely guides.

Deep dive into Vietnamese way of living, culture and history. - Fantastic experience and definitely recommended. The tour guides are flexible to accommodate your wishes. The great thing about this tour is that you don’t get hundreds of facts recited by a professional tour guide but that you spend 5 hours with local students having conversations about anything that might interest you about Vietnam, like culture, day-to-day student life, customs, history etc. Special thanks to our two wonderful guides Hanh and Minh, who took out their free afternoon to spend time with us. ❤️

Best Hanoi Tour! - My tour guide Mi was amazing! She was so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. I got such a unique perspective on the city through the tour and thoroughly enjoyed every part of it. Highly recommend to any travelers who want to experience Hanoi through a local's lens!

Hanoi’s Old Quarter is chaos + charm in the best way. - Exploring Hanoi’s Old Quarter with Ha and Ling was like stepping into a living story. The day started at the market, where narrow alleys overflowed with fruit stalls, sizzling street food, and swarms of motorcycles.
From there, we walked to Hoan Kiem Lake. The red bridge to Ngoc Son Temple was beautiful, and inside we found the legendary turtles that locals see as symbols of luck.
We ended at the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. The courtyards and stone tablets carried centuries of scholarship, and wandering through the gardens felt peaceful .

A must do for Hanoi - Such a unique experience! A must do while in Hanoi! This program is an example of what makes Hanoi special. It’s more of a cultural exchange and such a great way to learn in depth about the culture and interact with locals.
My guide Cuong was so friendly. He was very thoughtful with my tour and made sure to cater my experience to things I haven’t seen before.

Recommend private tour to see Hanoi! - Hannha was a perfect tourguide! Asked what we really wanted to see, showed us some delicious snacks we didn't know of. She was not in a rush with the time. Spoke perfectly English!
