• Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum stands as the most notable landmark within the complex. Opened in 1975, this impressive and distinctively Vietnamese architectural structure preserves the embalmed body of President Ho Chi Minh, offering both locals and tourists the opportunity to pay their respects.

NOTE: HO CHI MINH’S MAUSOLEUM IS OPEN FOR ENTRY ONLY IN THE MORNING. IN THE AFTERNOON, VISITORS WILL VIEW THE EXTERIOR OF THE MAUSOLEUM ALONG WITH OTHER SITES.

• Presidential Palace Historical Site - The Presidential Palace served as President Ho Chi Minh’s workplace from 1954 to 1969. Originally constructed in a French colonial architectural style, this building was once the Governor-General’s Palace of Indochina.

• Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House - Situated within the Presidential Palace grounds, Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House was his home and office from 1958 to 1969. The house showcases a simple yet traditional Vietnamese architectural style, reflecting President Ho Chi Minh’s modest and humble way of life.

• One Pillar Pagoda - The One Pillar Pagoda is a renowned Buddhist temple with a unique architectural design. Built on a single stone pillar in the center of a lotus pond, it represents a blooming lotus flower. Originally erected in 1049 during the Ly Dynasty, the pagoda holds significant historical and spiritual importance for the Vietnamese people.

• Ho Chi Minh Museum - The Ho Chi Minh Museum displays thousands of artifacts, documents, and images illustrating the life and revolutionary career of President Ho Chi Minh. Beyond honoring his legacy, the museum also emphasizes key events in modern Vietnamese history.

• Huu Tiep Lake and the Downed B-52 - The B-52 Victory Museum exhibits various artifacts related to the 12-day battle in December 1972, when the Vietnamese people and military successfully defended Hanoi against extensive U.S. bombing raids. The museum includes wreckage of downed B-52 bombers, anti-aircraft weapons, historical documents, and photographs highlighting the courage of Vietnamese air defense forces.

• Hoa Lo Prison - Hoa Lo Prison: A notorious prison used by the French to imprison Vietnamese revolutionaries, later detaining American pilots during the Vietnam War, famously dubbed the “Hanoi Hilton Hotel” by U.S. prisoners.
