Please be prepared in the lobby as the guide will arrive to call your name for the tour, followed by a transfer to Mai Chau. The drive from the Old Quarter to Mai Chau takes approximately 4 hours, including a brief stop for a break.
• Thung Khe Pass - 7:30 – 10:45 AM: Travel along the winding, silk-like pass. Experience the living spaces of the local Muong and Thai communities, nestled between the valleys and mountains. At 10:50 - 11:30 AM, stop at the top of Thung Khe Pass to enjoy the panoramic view of Mai Chau Valley. Visit the temporary local market, where Muong ethnic products are sold at the pass’s summit.
• Mai Chau - Arrive in Mai Chau, Hoa Binh Province. At 12:00 PM, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (vegetarian options available). From 1:00-3:00 PM, embark on a cycling tour through a picturesque valley with fresh air, visiting a typical Thai ethnic village. Explore traditional Thai houses and observe the intricate process of weaving traditional fabrics and brocade products, which require significant time to complete.
