Hanoi – Mai Chau (L, D)

Old Quarter - 06:45 AM: Guests will be picked up at their hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter to embark on a journey to Mai Chau. The trip includes a scenic drive through Thung Khe Pass, offering breathtaking views of Mai Chau Valley. The drive from Hanoi to Mai Chau takes approximately 4 hours.

Mai Chau - Upon arrival in Mai Chau, known as the heart of the Thai community, guests will check in and enjoy lunch in a traditional stilt house, featuring specialties from the Northwest mountains. After a brief rest, guests can relax by the pool or take a leisurely stroll through the narrow alleys to experience local life. The cycling tour begins, allowing guests to explore the picturesque Mai Chau valley, passing through fields and villages, and learning about the unique cultural practices of the White Thai ethnic group. A stop at local brocade production facilities offers a chance to purchase souvenirs. Guests will return to the homestay for free time to relax, enjoy the pool, or explore the surrounding alleys. Dinner and a peaceful night will be spent at the homestay.

Mai Chau - Pu Luong (B, L, D):

Mai Chau - An early breakfast prepares guests for an exciting day ahead. They will board a vehicle to reach the stunning Pu Luong Reserve, stopping at Pu Luong Eco Garden to drop off their bags before the day’s adventures. Guests will then take a van to the trek’s starting point. On Thursdays and Sundays, there is a stop at the local Pho Doan market. The trek begins on a small dirt path, passing an isolated hamlet and through the jungle, leading to the higher part of Hieu village with breathtaking views. As guests descend towards the waterfall, they will pass local houses. There is free time to enjoy the waterfall, with options for swimming and water hiking depending on the season. Guests will then join a local house for a Garden to Table Lunch at an ethnic minority homestay.

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - After lunch, guests can relax in the village before returning to Pu Luong Eco Garden. There is free time to unwind at the hotel, either in the room or by the infinity pool, or to take an easy walk around Bang Village. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at the Retreat.

Pu Luong - Ninh Binh (B, L, D)

Pu Luong Nature Reserve - Breakfast is served at the Retreat before starting the trek to Kho Muong Village & Bat Cave. The trek begins along a small alley near traditional Thai stilt houses, leading to stunning views of the infinity rice terraces. As guests reach the top of the hill, they will gradually see Kho Muong village and appreciate its uniqueness. After exploring the village, guests will walk to the cave entrance, with the option to visit the cave depending on weather conditions.

Ninh Binh - After checking out and having lunch at Pu Luong, guests will bid farewell to the magnificent Pu Luong Nature Reserve and begin the journey to Ninh Binh, known as Halong Bay on land. Upon arrival at the lodge, guests have free time to relax by the pool or on the terrace, enjoying the tranquil atmosphere. Dinner and an overnight stay will be at Trang An Ecolodge Resort.

Ninh Binh - Ha Noi (B, L)

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - After breakfast, guests will cycle to Hoa Lu Ancient Capital. Dating back to the 10th century, this ancient Vietnamese capital was home to the emperors of the Dinh, Tien Le, and Ly dynasties. Visitors will be transported back in time at this remarkable site, which is both a valuable relic and a notable tourist attraction, offering stunning historical scenery and unique architectural values from a bygone era.

Trang An Grottoes - Guests will enjoy a relaxing tour of the UNESCO site of Trang An, featuring a boat tour through a breathtaking landscape of karst peaks covered by jungle, passing through caves and observing temples. This unique destination in Vietnam offers a serene boat trip with stunning views and rich history, showcasing perfectly preserved architecture.

Old Quarter - After a 2-hour drive, guests will return to Hanoi and be dropped off at their hotel between 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM. This concludes the 4-day Mai Chau - Pu Luong - Ninh Binh tour. Thank you, and we hope you enjoyed the trip.
