Arrival in Hanoi

Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum - Arrive at the airport in Hanoi. Guests will be picked up and transferred to the hotel. The tour begins at Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, viewed from Ba Dinh Square.

Temple of Literature & National University - Explore the Temple of Literature and Quoc Tu Giam. Visitors will also see Vietnam’s first university, established in 1070. Its gardens and well-preserved architecture provide a serene glimpse into Vietnam’s history.

Hoan Kiem - The tour will pass by Hoan Kiem Lake to admire its tranquil waters.

Hang Gai Street (Street of Hemp) - Explore Hanoi’s old quarter. Overnight stay at a hotel in Hanoi.

Hanoi - Hoa Lu - Tam Coc - Ninh Binh

Hoa Lu Ancient Capital - Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Depart from Hanoi, traveling approximately 2 hours by bus via National Road No 1. Upon arrival in Ninh Binh, guests can stretch their legs. Visit the ancient capital of Hoa Lu and the temples of King Dinh and King Le.

Tam Coc - Arrive at Tam Coc wharf for a Sampan boat trip through the caves (90 minutes including rowman). Return to Tam Coc wharf for a short break. Overnight stay at a hotel in Ninh Binh.

Ninh Binh - Mai Chau Hideaway

Mai Chau - 8:00 AM: Depart from Ninh Binh, traveling over 3 hours by car via National Road 21 & No 6. Guests can stretch their legs and enjoy a short visit and one-hour hike to discover the authentic bamboo forest of northern Vietnam, then return to the car to continue to Suối Lốn village. Enjoy the landscape along Da River, reminiscent of Halong Bay on the mountains. Arrive at Mai Chau Hideaway resort, check into the room, and admire the exceptional panoramic view of the Black River (Da River).

Mai Chau - Afternoon: Take a boat trip on Da River, the largest lake in Vietnam, to visit Ngoi Hoa Bay. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by fresh mountain air and the tranquility of this secluded bay. Visitors can also explore local ethnic villages, home to the Muong and Dao communities.

Return to Mai Chau Hideaway for dinner and overnight stay.

Mai Chau - Hanoi

Go Lao Waterfall - In the morning, enjoy breakfast at a restaurant. Transfer to Go Lao Waterfall, located 4km from the resort. Return to the resort for leisure time. After lunch, visit Van Village (lunch en-route). Guests can take a short walk to explore Van Village, located at the foot of Pu Van Mountain, home to the Thai ethnic people. The Thai community primarily engages in rice cultivation, animal husbandry, and traditional crafts such as weaving and basketry. Van Village retains many of its pristine, rustic features, from its landscape to the simple lifestyle of the Thai people. Return to Hanoi for an overnight stay.

HANOI – HALONG BAY (B, L, D) NIGHT ON CRUISE IN HALONG BAY

Halong Bay - 09:00: Pick up from the hotel in Hanoi. Drive to Halong City. At 12:30, receptionists welcome guests at the Harbour. At 12:45, check-in while enjoying a welcome drink, safety briefing, and cabin check-in. At 13:00, leave the Harbour to explore Halong Bay. Enjoy lunch while cruising past famous sights including Ba Hang fishing village, Dinh Huong island, Cho Da islet, and Ga Choi islet. At 14:30, the cruise stops at Bo Nau Cave. Transfer by tender to the Surprise Cave. At 15:45, transfer by tender to Titov Island. Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach, or climbing the steps of the rock to the top of the island for photo opportunities. At 16:45, return to the cruise. Relax and enjoy the sunset on the sun deck. Cruise to the overnight anchorage. From 18:00 to 19:00, enjoy HAPPY HOUR - Buy one drink, get one free (wine excluded). At 18:30, join a cooking class featuring Vietnamese traditional dishes. At 19:00, dinner is served. At 20:30, evening activities include film entertainment in the dining room and squid fishing with the crew.

HALONG BAY – HANOI - DEPARTURE (B/BR)

Halong Bay - 06:00: Morning wake-up call upon request.

06:30: Enjoy Tai Chi instructions on the sundeck for 30 minutes while cruising to Luon Cave. 07:00: Enjoy a light breakfast in the restaurant. Coffee, tea, fresh milk, water, pastries, fresh fruit, and cereals will be served in the dining room.

08:00: Transfer to Luon Cave by tender. Visit Luon Cave by a traditionally woven bamboo boat rowed by a local boatman.

08:30: Return to the cruise, take time to freshen up, and check out of the cabins. Please leave luggage outside the cabins (staff will transfer it to the pier upon arrival). Depart for Tuan Chau International Harbour.

09:15: Enjoy brunch served in the dining room. Settle any bills in the dining room after brunch.

10:45: Transfer by tender back to Tuan Chau Harbour and disembark. Meet the tour guide and driver, then transfer back to Hanoi. Transfer to the airport for the departure flight in the evening. End of services.
