ITINERARY: - At 9:00 AM or 2:00 PM, participants will meet at our restaurant located at 54 Hang Buom Street.
- Select dishes from the 9 options suggested by our Chef, then visit a nearby local market to gather fresh ingredients and learn about the Vietnamese cuisine you will be preparing for 1 hour.
- At 10:00 AM or 3:00 PM, return to the restaurant to prepare and cook for 2 hours.
- At 12:00 PM or 5:30 PM, enjoy a delightful lunch or dinner with us after your cooking session!

Thorough! - We had a school trip here together to take part in a cooking class.
The staff can speak both Vietnamese and English, were caring and thorough with their demonstration to teach us all well.

Hoang’s private cooking class! - We are in Hanoi for our honeymoon and we really enjoyed the private cooking class! There was a full menu from which we got to choose 3 dishes for us to cook. Laura was so friendly and encouraging throughout the whole process. Would love to try cooking the other dishes next time. After we ate the meals we cooked and enjoyed a Vietnamese coconut coffee (included of course)! Thank you again!

Just fantastic! - We had an amazing class with Laura and chef this afternoon. We were the only ones on the course today which is unusual. They have a set menu of 9 different dishes and you can choose 3 of them to make in the class. Having picked, green mango salad with shrimp, Hanoi style grilled pork bun cha and Vietnamese pancake with chicken.
Laura initially took us to the local market to watch her buy the ingredients for our meal, it’s a very different experience to our local Sainsburys!
Back at the restaurant we prepared all the vegetables , pork and chicken for our dishes . Once this was done we cooked the sauces and caramel ahead of cooking the meat . We were under guidance the whole time and they made the entire experience just brilliant . Once we’d finished cooking we went back downstairs to eat in the restaurant.

Fantastic food and teaching! - Absolutely fabulous cookery class with Daisy taking us to the market to buy ingredients, and then cooking in a room above a restaurant. It was very much a hands-on experience, preparing and cooking chicken noodle soup, fresh spring rolls and beef in betel leaves We learned so much and wish we could have frozen all the food to take it back to the UK afterwards because there was so much!
A really great way to spend a Sunday morning in Hanoi.
