• Merzouga - 1st Day Afternoon: The camel trekking and overnight adventure begins every evening at 4pm from a guest house in Merzouga town. Your camel and guide will be ready and waiting for you. Enjoy a 1 hour and 30-minute camel ride through the stunning Erg Chebbi golden sand dunes. This is a chance to experience the journey of caravan traders or nomads from years past. Before reaching the Desert Sahara Camp, there will be a stop to walk on the sand and climb a high dune to witness one of the world’s most breathtaking sunsets. Upon arrival at the Desert camp, you will be warmly welcomed with Moroccan mint tea. The camp is well-equipped with beds, mattresses, blankets, traditional Berber food, and all necessities for the night. After a delicious Moroccan Tagine dinner, gather around the campfire to enjoy traditional Berber music performed by local guides, with an opportunity to join in. Later, take a romantic walk on the sand dunes under a sky filled with stars and shooting stars, before retiring to bed.
