In Hatta, participants can explore the local heritage village and the Portuguese Fort, constructed in the 16th century. The adventure continues with an exciting drive through wadis—ancient dried-up riverbeds—to reach the refreshing mountain pools, pending approval from Oman border security. Remember to bring swimwear and towels if you wish to take a dip. There is an optional lunch break at a local restaurant.
