Arrival in Egypt (Welcome to Egypt)
Airport Road - Upon arrival at Cairo Airport, a representative from Marsa Alam tours will be there to assist with baggage inspection and passport checks. You will then be transported in a modern, private, air-conditioned vehicle to check into a 5-star hotel in Cairo. In the evening, enjoy a dinner cruise with your private tour guide, featuring folk dancing, singing performances, and Derwish shows that reflect authentic Egyptian traditions. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Cairo Day Tour (Giza Pyramids – Egyptian Museum)
Pyramids of Giza - Begin your Cairo day tour by visiting the Pyramids of Giza, including the Great Pyramid of King Cheops from the Fourth Dynasty, as well as the Chephren and Mycerinus pyramids. Proceed to the panorama area for memorable photos of the three pyramids together, and continue to the Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities - Next, tour the Egyptian Museum, which includes the treasures of Tutankhamun. There is an option to visit the Mummy room. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, with vegetarian options available upon request. Overnight in Cairo.
Fly from Cairo to Aswan
Temple of Philae - After breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, your private tour guide will escort you to explore Aswan’s attractions, including the Temple of Philae, a Felucca tour around Elephantine, the High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk.
Philae Temple - Built to honor the goddess Isis, this was the last temple constructed in the classical Egyptian style, beginning around 690 BC. It was one of the last places where the goddess was worshipped.
Aswan High Dam - The High Dam is a rock-fill dam located at the northern border between Egypt and Sudan. Fed by the Nile River, it forms Lake Nasser. Construction began in 1960 and was completed in 1968, with its official inauguration in 1971.
Unfinished Obelisk - Aswan was the source of ancient Egypt’s finest granite, used for statues and temple embellishments. The large unfinished obelisk in the Northern Quarries offers valuable insights into monument creation, though the full process remains unclear. Three sides of the nearly 42-meter-long shaft were completed, except for the inscriptions. At 1168 tonnes, the finished obelisk would have been the heaviest stone piece ever crafted by the Egyptians.
Lunch will be served at a Nile view restaurant, followed by a transfer to a 5-star hotel for check-in. Overnight in Aswan.
Abu Simbel Temples from Aswan
Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Early in the morning, your private tour guide will accompany you to continue your Upper Egypt tours by exploring the Abu Simbel temples.
The two temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari were carved out of the mountain on the west bank of the Nile between 1274 and 1244 BC. The Great Temple was dedicated to Ramses II, Ra-Harakhty, Amun Ra, and Ptah, featuring four colossal statues. The second temple was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and Goddess Hathor. The temples were dismantled and rebuilt on higher ground, marking a significant achievement by UNESCO.
Return to Aswan for lunch, then transfer to the train station for a first-class train to Luxor. Upon arrival, check into a 5-star hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight in Luxor.
East and West Bank from Luxor
Temple of Karnak - After breakfast at the hotel, continue your Cairo, Aswan, Luxor & Hurghada tour with a visit to the East Bank of the Nile, including the Karnak Temple.
Karnak is more than a temple; it is a spectacular complex of sanctuaries, kiosks, pylons, and obelisks, all dedicated to the Theban gods and the greater glory of Egypt’s pharaohs. Karnak was the most important place for worship of the Theban Triad (Amun, Mut, and Khonso).
Luxor Temple - Largely built by New Kingdom Pharaoh Amenhotep III and completed by King Tutankhamun and the Great King Ramses II, the first pylon was raised by Ramses II and decorated with his military battle of Kadesh.
Overnight in Luxor.
West Bank of Luxor
Valley of the Kings - Check out and continue your Luxor trip with your private tour guide by visiting the West Bank, including the Valley of the Kings.
Once called the Great Place of the Truth, this valley is now known as the Valley of the Kings. It is a majestic domain of the pharaohs who once lay in great stone sarcophagi, awaiting immortality. The isolated valley behind Deir el Bahri is dominated by a pyramid-shaped mountain peak.
Colossi of Memnon - The Colossi of Memnon are massive statues rising about 18 meters from the plain. They are the remains of what was once the largest complex on the west bank, built by Amenhotep III.
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - The Queen Hatshepsut Temple rises out of the desert plain in a series of terraces. The temple merges with the sheer limestone cliffs of the eastern face of the Theban Mountain, as if nature herself had built this extraordinary monument.
Lunch is served at an oriental food restaurant, followed by a private A.C car transfer to Hurghada. Upon arrival, check into a 5-star hotel for an overnight stay.
Hurghada
Hurghada Marina - After breakfast, continue your Cairo, Aswan, Luxor & Hurghada tour by enjoying various activities in Hurghada, such as swimming in the sea, basking in the warm sun on the beautiful sandy beaches, and savoring soft drinks and fresh food, among other options.
Hurghada
Hurghada Marina - Enjoy a free tour to explore Hurghada city at your leisure.

Pick-up time from Cairo airport with your Egyptologist tour guide includes a fantastic 8-hour orientation tour of Cairo, covering major monuments of Old Cairo and the historic Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Drive up to the Saladin Citadel.
The Citadel of Sultan Salah El-Dein - Constructed by Salah al-Din on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD as a defense against Crusader armies, it is known for its fresh air and sweeping views of Cairo. It is now a preserved historic site of mosques and museums, including the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha.
Mosque of Muhammad Ali - Designed by Turkish architect Yousif Boushnaq, who came to Cairo from Istanbul to build this magnificent structure, the mosque’s alabaster design beautifully contrasts with the sandstone city.
Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Old Cairo.
The Old Cairo - Visit Old Cairo to see major attractions such as the Hanging Church, the Ben Ezra Synagogue, the Church of St. Barbara, and the Church of Abu Serga, one of the oldest Coptic churches in Cairo.
Continue to the Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, one of the oldest bazaars in the Middle East. Discover a maze of alleys that have been central to Cairo’s trading activities since the 14th century.
Return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Cairo.
