Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Continue to Saqqara, located 27 km southwest of Cairo. Visit the Step Pyramid (built for King Zoser), the world’s oldest major stone structure, which marks an important stage in pyramid evolution from simple mastabas to its well-known form. This pyramid was constructed during the Third Dynasty of Ancient Egypt, 4,800 years ago. Also, visit the Tombs of the Nobles in Saqqara to learn about the daily life of ancient Egyptian noblemen.
Pyramids of Dahshour - Proceed to the south to explore the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshour, a renowned royal necropolis in Egypt located in the desert on the West Bank of the Nile, approximately 40 kilometers (25 miles) south of Cairo. It is famous for its pyramids, two of which are among the oldest, largest, and best-preserved in Egypt, built from 2613–2589 BC; the Red and Bent Pyramids of King Snefru.
Nile Cruise, Aswan Tours
Temple of Philae - After breakfast on the train, upon arrival at Aswan train station, our representative will be waiting with a sign displaying your name to transfer you by a private air-conditioned vehicle to your Nile Cruise for embarkation in Aswan before lunch. After lunch, visit the High Dam and Temple of Philae on Isis Island, then return to your Nile cruise. Dinner on board.
There is also an optional early morning visit to the UNESCO World Heritage site of Abu Simbel, an incredible site that was completely dismantled and rebuilt when Lake Nasser was flooded.

Navigation and Kom Ombo Temple
Temple of Kom Ombo - Enjoy breakfast on board and a leisurely morning on the deck. After lunch, prepare for the cruise navigation in the afternoon, heading to Kom Ombo city to visit the remarkable Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to two gods: Horus (the falcon god) and Sobek (the crocodile god). You will also visit the Crocodile Museum. Return to the cruise for dinner and continue sailing to Edfu for an overnight stay.
Edfu Temple and Arrival in Luxor (Visit Luxor Temple)
Temple of Horus - After breakfast, enjoy a horse carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise and relax on the deck, admiring the unique landscape and beautiful scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Luxor. Lunch on board, followed by afternoon tea on the sundeck.
Luxor Temple - Pass through the Esna lock to Luxor, built on and around the ancient site of Thebes, which boasts the greatest concentration of ancient ruins in the Nile Valley, if not the world. Across the Nile lies the City of the Dead, with its mortuary temples and rock-carved tombs. To the east stand the Temples of Luxor and Karnak. Late in the afternoon, arrive at Luxor harbor to visit Luxor Temple, located in the town center and beautifully illuminated at night, showcasing ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features. Dinner on board and a belly dancing show. Overnight in Luxor.
Luxor West Bank, Karnak Temple Tour, and Sleeper Train Back to Cairo
Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, check out and begin your remarkable day by driving to the West Bank to visit the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs from the New Kingdom carved their tombs in the mountains to hide their treasures and protect their mummies.
Temple of Hatshepsut - Next, visit the Mortuary Temple of the famous Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Conclude your West Bank tour with a photo stop in front of the colossal statues of Memnon. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (optional).
Temple of Karnak - Then, visit the massive Temple of Karnak, linked to Luxor by a long sphinx-lined avenue. Inside the large courtyard are three temples. The much-photographed Hypostyle Hall features an impressive 134 towering columns, each carved with scenes of gods and pharaohs, with hieroglyphic inscriptions covering the walls.
Luxor - Later, you will be transferred to Luxor train station to board the sleeper train back to Cairo. Dinner will be served on board the sleeper train. Overnight in your cabin.
