Explore the Iconic Pyramids of Giza, GEM, and Old Cairo
Pyramids of Giza - The Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx are not only top attractions in Egypt but are also must-see ancient monuments. The Great Pyramids and Sphinx are among the most renowned ancient sites globally and the only remaining wonder of the Ancient Seven Wonders of the World. A visit to Egypt is incomplete without seeing the Pyramids of Giza. Even if you’ve visited Egypt multiple times, the Pyramids and Sphinx at the Giza plateau are iconic images of Egypt. Don’t forget to capture a photo in front of them.
Grand Egyptian Museum - Located near the Pyramids of Giza, the Grand Egyptian Museum is one of the world’s largest and most impressive archaeological museums. It houses over 100,000 artifacts from Egypt’s history, from prehistoric times to the Greco-Roman era. The museum’s highlight is the complete collection of Tutankhamun, displayed together for the first time. Visitors can also admire colossal statues, royal mummies, intricate jewelry, and beautifully carved reliefs. The modern architecture, glass façade, and Grand Staircase offer a stunning setting with panoramic views of the pyramids.
Coptic Cairo - Coptic Cairo is a section of Old Cairo that includes the Babylon Fortress, the Coptic Museum, the Hanging Church, the Greek Church of St. George, and many other Coptic churches and historical sites.
Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor - By Air
Temple of Philae - The Temples of Philae, located 12 kilometers south of Aswan, are among Nubia’s most significant monument sites. This ancient pilgrimage center for the cult of Isis has captivated travelers for centuries. Revered from the Pharaonic era through the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine periods, each ruler left their mark on the stones here. Saved from submersion by UNESCO’s rescue project, which relocated the monuments block by block from Philae Island to Agilika Island, the temples continue to enchant visitors today.
Discover the Temples of the Nile - Kom Ombo & Edfu
Temple of Kom Ombo - The Temple of Kom Ombo is a unique double temple in the town of Kom Ombo in Aswan Governorate, Upper Egypt. Constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty (180–47 BC), the southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, the god of fertility and creator of the world, alongside Hathor and Khonsu.
Temple of Horus - Built between 237 and 57 BC, this Ptolemaic temple is one of Egypt’s best-preserved ancient monuments. Preserved by desert sand after the pagan cult was banned, the temple is dedicated to Horus, the avenging son of Isis and Osiris. With its intact roof, it remains one of the most atmospheric ancient buildings.
Discover Luxor - West & East Bank
Valley of the Kings - Also known as the Valley of the Gates of the Kings, this valley in Egypt is located on the west bank of the Nile, opposite Thebes, within the heart of the Theban Necropolis. It consists of two valleys, East Valley and West Valley.
Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - The Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, built for the Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh Hatshepsut, is situated beneath the cliffs at Deir el-Bahari on the west bank of the Nile near the Valley of the Kings.
Colossi of Memnon - The Colossi of Memnon are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III, who reigned during the Eighteenth Dynasty. For 3,400 years, they have stood in the Theban Necropolis, west of the River Nile from modern Luxor.
Temple of Karnak - Karnak Temple is a vast temple complex in Luxor dedicated primarily to Amun, dating back to as early as 2000 BC. It is an impressive sight, second only to the Great Pyramids in popularity.
Luxor Temple - Luxor Temple is a large Ancient Egyptian temple complex on the east bank of the Nile River in Luxor, constructed around 1400 BCE. In Egyptian, it is known as ipet resyt, “the southern sanctuary.”
