They will escort you to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle. At the hotel, a representative will assist with check-in and review your holiday itinerary to confirm pick-up times for each tour. If your flight arrives early, you might enjoy a first glimpse of the pyramids with a spectacular sound and light show, or perhaps venture into downtown Cairo for a Nile dinner cruise and show (optional).

Tour to Giza Pyramids, Saqqara and Overnight First Class Sitting Train to Luxor

Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids - Enjoy breakfast and check out with your luggage. This morning, your private guide will take you on a full-day tour of the pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. Begin with the step pyramid of Saqqara, the first capital of ancient Egypt, and the oldest pyramid in Egypt, built by King Djoser around 4800 B.C., before exploring the renowned pyramids at Giza.

Pyramids of Giza - Pause for an optional lunch break, then continue to the Giza Plateau to explore the world-famous pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, Mycrenos, and the Sphinx. These structures have stood for 4500 years. Marvel at the Sphinx, one of the largest monolithic statues in history, enjoy the views, and capture memorable photos.

Giza - In the evening, transfer to the train station to board the overnight first-class sitting train to Luxor.

Arrive Luxor and Transfer to Nile Cruise-Luxor East Bank

Luxor - A licensed representative from Egypt Gift Tours will meet and assist you at Luxor Railway Station, transferring you by A/C vehicle to your 5-star Nile Cruise for check-in before lunch. Enjoy lunch on board.

Temple of Karnak - Begin your tour by visiting the largest temple ever built, Karnak Temple, constructed over 2000 years and covering about 63 acres.

Luxor Temple - Continue to Luxor Temple, showcasing ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features. Admire its obelisk and statues. Return to the cruise for dinner on board and overnight in Luxor.

Hot Air Balloon-Luxor West Bank-Sailing to Edfu

Hot Air Balloon Luxor Take Off Site - Start with an early morning pick-up from the cruise (around 5 to 5:30 am) for an exhilarating Hot Air Balloon ride over the River Nile and Egypt’s most famous ancient monuments on the West Bank of Luxor, with a flight lasting about 30-45 minutes. Enjoy the sunrise illuminating the sky of the open-air museum city (Luxor) over the magnificent temples and mountains below.

Valley of the Kings - After breakfast, begin your day by driving to the West Bank to explore the Theban Necropolis, visiting the Valley of the Kings, where New Kingdom pharaohs carved their tombs in the mountains to hide their treasures and protect their mummies.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Proceed to the Mortuary Temple of the famous Queen Hatshepsut at El Deir El Bahari. Listen to your tour guide recount the story of the first female Pharaoh who ruled Egypt for over 22 years.

Colossi of Memnon - Conclude your West Bank tour with a photo stop in front of the colossal statues of Memnon.

Esna Lock - Return to the cruise by noon for lunch. Begin sailing down the River Nile to cross Esna Lock. Overnight in Edfu.

Edfu Temple-Kom Ombo Temple-Aswan

Temple of Horus - After breakfast, enjoy a horse carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples. Return to the cruise.

Nile River Valley - Relax on the deck, taking in the unique landscape and admiring the scenery of the Nile River while sailing to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Afternoon tea on the sundeck.

Temple of Kom Ombo - Late in the afternoon, stop at Kom Ombo city to visit the unique double temple of Sobek, the crocodile God, and Horus, the Falcon God. Return to the cruise for dinner, followed by a folkloric party hosted by the cruise staff and tour guides. Continue sailing to Aswan for overnight.

Abu Simbel Trip (Sharing a Group in a Bus or Minibus)

Aswan - Around 4 to 4:30 am, your guide will pick you up for the Abu Simbel trip (sharing a small group in a bus or minibus), for a drive lasting about 3 to 4 hours.

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Visit one of Egypt’s most impressive sites, the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, with their unique design built for King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari.

Aswan - Return to the cruise, arriving around 2 to 2:30 pm for lunch. Enjoy a free afternoon, with an optional visit to the Nubian village. Dinner on board and a Nubian show. Overnight in Aswan.
