South coast tour - Our tour guide, Monika, was excellent. She gave us door to door service by dropping us off as close to the entrance as possible. She shared so much historical knowledge and introduced us to many Icelandic musical artists with relevant songs written for the places we viewed. She also shared many handouts both funny and educational.

Picturesque & Informative - During the drive to the attractions, our driver/tour guide, Tony, gave us a wealth of information about Iceland. He was very knowledgeable & informative. We visited two waterfalls, a glacier, a black sand beach, and a small church that overlooked a coastal village. Also, his food suggestions were tasty. I recommend this excursion.

Awesome waterfalls! - Great tour with an entertaining guide! We really enjoyed the waterfalls, black sand beach, and the impromptu stop to see the glacier from a different view due to great weather.

Spectacular views - Overall a great experience - Thank you so much for the wonderful day!
My mom and I did the Southern Iceland Full Day Tour, Black Sand Beaches & More.
Our tour guide, Steinunn, was phenomenal. She was very kind and knowledgeable about all of the places we had the pleasure of stopping at. She also provided great recommendations as to what to do at each stop to fully enjoy our time, offered to take photos for us, had many fun/history facts for the many beautiful destinations and locations between, and played great music also related to Iceland. She was a pleasure!
Our driver Robert was a great driver and we felt safe the whole time.
The views on this tour are second to none, I highly recommend doing this tour if you get the chance while visiting Iceland! Thank you again.

Mixup in the tour, but they made it right - We originally booked the Golden Circle and Secret Lagoon tour. However, due to a mixup and a very late bus driver (not this one, our original tour) and wrong info, we were offered a tour with Tony, who actually tried to help us. It was not our fault, we were there on time.
It wasn't our original plan, but I did enjoy seeing the waterfalls and farmland along the way of Iceland. Tony was an informative and safe driver. He showed us some videos of his kids watching a volcano reaction at home. Pretty funny.
Not too far into the tour, there's a short break at a gas station. You have time to use the restroom and grab a snack.
When you go see the glacier site, be prepared for it to be windy and cold. It's pretty rough. It was generally rainy and windy our whole tour, but expected in Iceland.
The wind at the Black Beach will nearly push you back. Still interesting though and glad I got to see it. You'll get about an hour break here. Food is expensive, but expected. There is a hot dog stand outside though I wish I'd noticed.
The waterfalls are great to look at. The one at Seljalandfoss you can go behind, and it's pretty impressive. You will get soaked though, so dress appropriately.
After some back and forth with the company over the mix up, and explaining what happened to them, we eventually got what I consider a reasonable percentage back for our troubles. I appreciate that. So...they were a fair company to me I have to say.

The scenery was... - The scenery was fascinating, the guides info very comprehensive. He did drive a little faster than it seemed prudent.

Good tour but different itinerary to described. Some parts felt rushed. You need to be fit and a fast walker to see all - Although the tour is advertised as 10 hours we were the last drop off and back in Reykjavík by 5:30 pm (pick up was 8:15am). Petar was our driver and was knowledgeable but not hugely chatty. There were 5 stops on the tour and for 3 of them, we felt rushed. First waterfall you had the opportunity to climb up a lot of stairs to a viewing platform which took at least 15 minutes. Time spent on the black beach was fine. We had lunch in Vik, then headed to the glacier. It was a 20 minute walk to the viewing platform so literally there and back and straight back on the bus. The last stop was Seljalandsfoss which was the most rushed of all. we followed the path behind the waterfall over slippery rocks, looped back and then straight on the bus back to Reykjavik. An extra 5 or 10 minutes would have made so much difference to appreciate the sights, and grab a drink and toilet break without constantly feeling rushed.
You do need a reasonable level of fitness for this tour and to walk fast enough to see everything. Did over 15,000 steps. Comfortable small minibus was preferable over a large coach tour.

Lots of hours on the road to see very little - A lot of hours to see very little. The worst of my 6 tours on this trip. The weather did not help as it was grey and rainy and our guide Pieter was very dour so did not add anything lifting. Despite the fact that we were a small group of only 8, he made no effort to engage with any of us or to lighten the mood. He spewed loads of history, dates and facts, but failed to bond with us.
Considering that I had experienced such fabulous guides all week, this was a serious let down to end the week.
