Great experience - Great tour. We were a small group, so we got to know each other well. Alex was very personable and kept us informed along the way. He prepared a nice lunch for us to eat in the park. Some wildlife sightings along the way. I am a senior, but the hike was easy. Alex provided walking sticks, water and even toilet paper for the rather rustic toilets! He obviously loves what he is doing. It was nice to get out of the city and enjoy some beautiful scenery and the Baltic sea coast.

Lovely walk in the Baltic coast - Although it was a rainy day, the Archipelago walk went on smoothly and all participants had a great time. Didi was our guide and she was a good communicator.

Delightful Hike - Fabulous half day tour. Great way to see and learn about the flora & fauna of southern Finland. The hike from the parking area to the Baltic Sea was easy. The seaside lunch featuring local fare was very nice.

My Favorite Finland Adventure - I visited Helsinki for 9 days and had lots of adventures, experiences, and sightseeing during my stay, but this tour was by far my most favorite adventure. Our tour guide was a handsome man named Alex, who was one of the kindest, most attentive humans I've ever met. He was also super excited about all the plants and animals that we encountered, and the beauty of Porkkalanniemi Park. His passion for nature kept us engaged. He frequently, casually, reminded us to just look around, hear the wind, breathe the fresh air, and understand that we were blessed to be on this outing together. And who were "we?" We were random people from all over the world who met the tour van in front of the library in Helsinki to go on this hike - two Americans, one Egyptian, one Japanese, one Korean, one Chinese, one Canadian, one German, and our Finnish guide Alex. Perhaps it was because we were all the type of person to choose a tour like this, but everyone was awesome and we all got along great. The van was clean, modern, and Alex was a very safe driver. He made sure to put the folks who may get car sick in the front seat with him. He asked all of us if the temperature in the van was okay, and if we wanted the windows open. The drive to the park was about 30 minutes. We went on a sunny, beautiful day - but the temperature was in the high 50s, lows 60 degrees F and it was windy. Alex had extra jackets in the van for anyone to borrow if needed. Upon arrival, Alex offered toilet paper and hand sanitizer to anyone who needed the outhouse, which was near the parking lot. He took the lead on our easy, beautiful hike through the forest so that he could keep an eye out for any snakes that may be on the trail. He pointed out deer, a lizard, birds, and all sorts of plants and trees. He explained the hiking, camping, and foraging rules/culture in Finland. The trail ended on the rocky shore of the Baltic Sea. At this point, Alex encouraged the group to go explore for 25 minutes while he prepared a most delicious picnic lunch of traditional Finnish foods. He gave us his cell phone number in case anyone got lost. When we got back to the picnic table, we feasted and everyone was smiling and looked to be truly enjoying themselves. Once lunch was over and cleaned up, we hiked back to the parking lot and safely arrived back in Helsinki 30 minutes later. Thank you Alex and my tour mates for this truly amazing experience!

Hike through a national forest - We were coming to Helsinki for a conference and wanted to do as much sightseeing as we could during our visit. We chose this tour and it went beyond our expectations. It is a small group, only 8 of us. We were strangers at the beginning and friends at the end. Our guide Alex, was educational and entertaining. He was respectful of differing hiking abilities. We never felt rushed or held back. The lunch he prepared was delicious and beautifully presented. It was well worth the price and it created memories for a lifetime.

A great, well paced trip which I can recommend. - The trip was great. An easy pace with a wonderful and very knowledgable guide who knew the area well and was well travelled himself. Lunch was a nice surprise. I would recommend the trip to anyone capable of walking around the streets seeing the other sights Helsinki has to offer.
