This experience is perfect for a romantic breakfast, a surprise for a friend, a family gathering, or anyone eager to learn about Cretan cuisine and culture! Guests will enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables from our orchard, along with a variety of seasonal fresh juices like pomegranate, orange, and lemon. They will also taste local fresh hot bread and other traditional bakes made from carob and other local ingredients. Our traditional famous dish, ntakos, is also on the menu! Additionally, traditional homemade cheeses crafted by my family from our small goat farm are included. My mother will also prepare some of her renowned traditional cheese pies or pies with local seasonal greens. The traditional Cretan breakfast also features fresh eggs from our chicken farm, nuts from our orchard, the finest Cretan honey, tahini, Greek yogurt, all accompanied by Greek coffee with loukoumi!

Fantastic experience - It's absolutely perfect :) the food is really good and the view is stunning. I had a date there with my girlfriend and it was simply amazing. Sevi and her family are very sweet people and during our brunch they took such good care of us and you can realy feel the heart and love for their culture and food. Feeding the goats and taking a walk across the farm was a lot of fun. If you are nearby during the holidays and you want to try some amazing traditional cretan food you should definetly visit :)

A table full of Crete! - All Crete in one plate! We tasted delicious homemade pies,a variety of cheeses, little desserts, fresh fruits from the farm and a lot of delights! Thanks for everything. We will Come back to baxes

Traditional cretan greek delights - If you are a traveler, who visits Crete and wants to learn more about the island's culture and traditions, you should definately check out Sevi's cooking lessons. They take place in Sevi's family traditional tavern, Baxes in the breathtaking village Krousonas. I chose what we would cook and under the guidance of Sevi i was able to cook my now favorite new dish gemista and more.
On the plus side i visited and fed the family's sheep and goats and played with the few months old puppies. Also, in the end of the lesson after i ate, Sevi provided me with helpful information that made my stay better and send me all the photos from my lesson. Thank you for the wonderful time.
