The easiest way to explore all see sights! - The Hop-On Hop-Off bus in Heraklion was a fantastic way to explore the city in a short amount of time. With only a few hours to spare, it gave us the perfect overview of the main attractions without the stress of navigating on our own. The route is well-planned and the commentary is informative, making it both convenient and educational. A special thank you to the amazing team—especially Efi, who went out of her way to help all guests understand the route clearly. Her kindness and professionalism made a big difference and added a personal touch to the experience. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to see the best of Heraklion efficiently!

Perfect Way to Discover Heraklion - We had a fantastic time exploring Heraklion with the hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus! The route covered all the main attractions, and the audio guide was informative and easy to follow. What really stood out was the friendliness of the staff — everyone was helpful, polite, and eager to answer questions or suggest stops based on our interests. Buses were punctual, clean. Highly recommended. Great value for money — and a wonderful experience overall!

Who knew that you would find the BEST Hop-On Hop-Off in Heraklion, Crete - When exploring a new City, we like to start with a Hop-On Hop-Off tour. The Hop-On Hop-Off tour in Heraklion, Crete was exceptional. It was hands down better than New York, Boston or Sydney. Each stop had large sign boards with the stop number clearly marked as well as an attendant. And buses came every 20 min - so many busses! The first stop is at the port so super easy for cruisers. Well worth 20€

Best way to see Heraklion - We opted out of a tour that we'd paid for in exchange for the ease of doing our own thing on the hop-on hop-off bus. What a great decision!! We got two days for the price of one and the recording was super helpful in giving us some history before we got off the bus. It went everywhere we needed to go and the staff was beyond amazing. There was staff at all the main stops and they were so helpful - giving us maps and telling us where to get off for whatever we wanted. The drivers were the best in the world, and I'm not exaggerating. Every bus I've ever taken in any country, the drivers are always in a hurry and grouchy and never helpful. These drivers were the opposite. They always made sure to let us know when we were getting close to our stop, were extremely patient, kind, happy. One time we got to a stop too late and were obviously looking bewildered (as in how are we going to get back) and a different bus stopped, asked us if we were OK, and told us to hop on and he'd take us to the city center. I just can't say enough about how much my husband and I loved these people.

We came - we saw - I’ve rated this experience a 4 because staff were quite friendly and really did try to accommodate the mad rush of customers off of the ship - the blue tour included the red tour and there appeared to be only 3 stops that interested anyone - the beach on the blue route - the stop for Knossos castle and the city square - We had no issues with the commentary and the driver announced each stop. Cleanliness as previously identified could be improved indeed. The experience certainly allowed us to see Heraklion but in our opinion there’s not a lot to see and unless you’re into Greek history the commentary while interesting did not resonate.

It’s only 9-6 - I booked this so we would have something to do in the afternoon but the bus stops at 6pm. No where did it say it stopped that early so we didn’t even get a chance to get on the bus.

Don’t Bother - This was not a good experience. There are 2 lines; 1 for the beach and 1 for the city sights. If you want to take the beach line the bus is supposed to come every hour but it’s a 2 hour route. Also the last bus from Ammouroda Beach leaves at 1507 or you’ll be stuck there. We needed to take a taxi back since no bus came. Also not much is set on the tour about the sites.
