The gorge is stunning, and along the way, you can admire various caves, as well as cypress, oak, and maple trees, among other flora.
Before embarking on the walk, there is a quaint café where you can enjoy a coffee or a local breakfast. After a brief pause, the downhill journey through the gorge begins, accompanied by a guide who will highlight native plants and provide insights about the area.
This leisurely walk takes approximately 2 ½ hours. Traverse through enchanting countryside, passing mountains, villages, and the majestic White Mountains.

Situated in the southeastern part of the White Mountains, it stretches 7 km in length and features slopes reaching up to 300 meters high. The gorge boasts some breathtaking sections, including several very narrow passages.
It is renowned for its rare flora and stunning landscape throughout the area. The beautiful scenery and low difficulty level make the Imbros descent perfect for families.
On the way to the gorge, there will be a stop at a Greek bakery where traditional snacks, coffee, or juice will be offered for tasting.
The walk takes approximately 2 ½ hours, and at the end of the gorge in the village of Komitades, visitors can enjoy a refreshing drink and unwind.
Afterward, the journey continues to the seaside village of Hora Sfakion, where there is free time to relax at one of the charming café/taverns along the waterfront with views of the sea or take a refreshing swim in the cool Libyan Sea.
