• Heraklion - Participants will be picked up from designated points in the morning. The duration of the bus ride will vary based on the location of your hotel or apartment.

• Monastery Vidiani - Our first stop is a quaint male monastery situated at the base of Louloudaki Mountain. Enjoy the stunning views of the Cretan countryside for approximately 25 minutes.

• Lasinthos Eco Park - A 15-minute bus ride will take us to Lasinthos Eco Park, where you can explore ancient workshops like pottery and candle making, as well as a small animal farm, for about an hour (admission is free). Following this, we will take a short drive around the traditional villages of the Lasithi Plateau.

• Krasi - A 30-minute bus ride will bring us to the charming village of Krasi, known for its beautiful freshwater springs and the oldest tree in Crete. Spend around 30 minutes enjoying the natural beauty of Crete.

• Lyrakis Family S.A. - Enjoy lunch and a guided tour at an Olive Mill Farm (a 25-minute bus ride to the farm). A wide selection of traditional dishes made from local Cretan products, homemade wine, and meats from the nearby mountains will be available (lunch is at your own expense). After lunch, take a guided tour of the Olive Mill Farm to learn about olive oil production, olive soaps, ceramics, honey, and more.

• Heraklion - Board the buses for the return trip to the hotels where participants were picked up in the morning. The return journey time will vary depending on traffic and the location of each pick-up point.

This tour offers travelers the chance to discover fascinating locations at the Plateau of Lassithi, the legendary birthplace of Zeus. Situated 850 meters above sea level, the Lasithi plain boasts the highest agricultural output in Crete. There are 18 charming villages nestled in the mountains surrounding the plateau. Guests will enjoy a scenic drive through the plateau, visiting the Monastery of Vidiani, Lasinthos Eco Park, and the traditional village of Krasi. Participants will also tour an Olive Mill Farm to observe the production of olive soap, olive oil, and more. They can savor an unforgettable meal made from local ingredients, at their own expense, at the Olive Mill Farm, with unique aromas from the surrounding wild mountains and a view of the Aegean Sea.
