Your private tour guide will pick you up from your accommodation between 6:00 am and 6:30 am. You will be transported from Cape Town to Hermanus, a journey that takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. Upon arrival, the first stop will be at the departure point for a whale watching boat trip, where a brief introduction to the tour will be provided. During the boat trip, you might encounter various whale species such as the Southern Right Whale, Bronze Whale, Humpback Whale, and Bryde’s Whale. Dolphins and Penguins may also be spotted, although sightings are not guaranteed. The whale watching boat trip is dependent on weather and sea conditions and lasts about 2 to 3 hours. After the boat trip, enjoy a meal at the unique Bientangs’ Cave Restaurant and Wine Bar. Following lunch, there will be time to explore the town before heading to Betty’s Bay. In Betty’s Bay, you will have the chance to see penguins up close, with opportunities for photography. The return journey to Cape Town will take a scenic route, concluding with a drop-off at your accommodation.
