Next, we will proceed to Cam Thanh Village, a former fishing village and wartime refuge for locals and the Viet Cong. Upon arrival, local residents will assist you in boarding a basket boat (coracle) for an enjoyable one-hour ride.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Experience the town’s most unique mode of transportation, the basket boat.
- Visit the fishing village in Water Coconut Palm and try your hand at crab catching with local fishermen.
- Learn to paddle the Vietnamese bamboo basket boat and explore the serene coconut palm-lined waterways of the past war.
Afterward, transfer back to land and return to the hotel. Tour concludes.
