Great experience and great gun. - We had a great time, this was a lot of fun learning some new skills and having heaps of laughs along the way. The basket boats were so relaxing, and the added bonus of going home with some authentic recipes and our own lanterns was great, though my lantern was definitely an original, but it wouldn't sell for much in a shop, LOL.

Fabulous tour and food - Everything about this tour was fabulous. We are a couple who travel independently and don't often join tours. But we wanted to do a cooking class We were welcomed into the group, enjoyed walking through the markets and learning about the foods. Making lanterns was fun, and the bamboo boats were a nice ride along the river...although we didn't partake in the gang nam dance! The cooking was fun, we learned so much. And it was delicious! Would absolutely recommend this tour

Wonderful Experience - This was an absolutely wonderful experience. The family is very welcoming and we still enjoy making the dishes we learned her at home. The lanterns are still hanging in our girls‘ bedrooms.

Excellent value trip - This was a great 3 part experience, excellently run with a lot done over the 4 hours. Starting with a trip to a local market where our lovely guide talked through the feed that we were going to be working with, as well as some other unusual fruits, we the moved on to the basket boat (coracle) ride through a water-coconut forest (water-coconuts!! I have never seen these before.) There were a lot of groups doing the basket boats but it was still peaceful travelling through the forest tunnels. In our group of 8 we were then shown how to make the traditional Hoi An lanterns and we each made out own lantern to take home with us. We then started the excellent cooking class - we were each given things to shred/slice/mix and a place at the frying stations and SOMEHOW between us we made a plentiful and scrumptious meal! At the end we were given our lanterns (now packed for travel) and a recipe sheet for the food we'd made. Our guide, I'm sorry I don't remember her name, was amazing throughout. I genuinely don't know how she managed to juggle the cooking to accommodate a vegetarian, a vegan and one person with a gluten intolerance but she did!!

Amazing experience - From collection to drop off we had a wonderful time. Thao was our amazing guide, she met us and took us round a local market where we selected ingredients for our cooking class. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic all the way through our tour. We got to make a traditional lantern with help from Thao (which we got to keep) We had a trip in a traditional banana boat before a masterclass in cooking. We made with help and instruction 4 dishes from scratch and then got to eat them! It was a truly wonderful morning and throughly recommend. Many thanks, we loved it.
