Travel to the lush Bay Mau Coconut Village, surrounded by water coconut palms. Enjoy a unique experience riding in a round bamboo boat, navigating the tranquil waterways of the coconut forest. Engage in enjoyable activities such as crab fishing or learning traditional paddling techniques. Arrive at a local cooking school, situated in the village or by the river. Unwind with a refreshing welcome drink and a brief introduction to the cooking session.
Cooking Demonstration and Hands-On Experience: Select 4 dishes from a list of 10 traditional Vietnamese dishes (examples include banh xeo, fresh spring rolls, caramelized fish cooked in a clay pot, fresh steamed rice roll, green mango salad, etc.). Learn cooking techniques and cultural stories behind each dish from a professional chef. Savor the results of your efforts in a cozy dining area with your group. Farm to table in Hoi An - A wonderful and interesting day. Mr Hung took us to the local market. WOW for photo ops and excellent colourful food. He showed us many unfamiliar vegetables and talked about their qualities and preparation. Then off to his restaurant in a rural garden setting for a cooking class. We got to select what we wanted to make from an extensive menu and it was all well organized and prepped to make it easy, fun and tasty. So well done and professionally organized. The day began with the coconut boats which I could have done without but you do get an interesting view of the waterways through the jungle and the coco boat operators were fun.

This is a must! - What a truly wonderful experience. Thanks to Hung and the cookery school team we had an amazing time. Started with the circular boat excursion with the loveliest local ladies who were full of fun. Then a market tour with so much to learn from Hung and then off to make lunch.
We chose three starters and one main course and the time went by very quickly as it was so engrossing. Loved every minute and cannot wait to replicate the recipes back home for our family.

A great cooking class with friendly people and delicious food! - We had a great time at Mai Home Hoi An! The team was very friendly and welcoming. The garden tour was lovely, and the cooking class was fun and easy to follow. The chef gave us great tips and explained each step clearly.
We cooked many tasty dishes like spring rolls, pancakes, clay pot fish, and a mango salad with banana flower. Everything was fresh and delicious!
Thank you to the whole team for this beautiful experience. We really enjoyed it and will try the recipes at home!

It's worth a visit!! - A beautiful experience both culinary and human. We had the chance to meet Hung. He's been able to pass on some of his knowledge. Very good food. You have the possibility to choose what you want to learn to cook.

Perfect day!!! - We were already looking forward for the cooking class a lot but what Hung provided to us was just completly outstanding. Best just look at the pictures ;)
Hung told us that he only does small class, which makes it so much better. We had the luck to have a private tour and cooking class just for the two of us. We felt every moment how Hung wants to give us a memoriable experience. Thanks so much!

10/10 great food and cooking class - Wow! Best food so far! Great teacher and service!Lolo was the best! We really enjoyed this cooking class. Took the “small/fast” one, which took approximately 2 hours and cost 300.000vnd. That was not included going to market etc, but cutting/preparing and cooking 2 starters and 1 main course and of course enjoying this amazing food in a nice environment. Absolutely recommend

Happy afternoon - Hung was wonderful hosting the tour and class. He picked us up at the hotel and told us so much about the Kia Al culture. The bamboo boat was fun. It was the cooking class that showed us how to chop vegetables Vietnamese style and put together tasty dishes. He was very patient with us and hospitable. Great service and a happy afternoon.

Wonderful way to spend the afternoon and learn to cook - From the minute Hung picked us up at our hotel we were looked after. He was friendly and told us a lot about the local culture. The round boats were fun as was the trip to the local food market. The cooking class was wonderful and the food delicious. Hung showed us how to prepare the food with lots of patience and humour. My husband and I loved the experience.
