Travel to the lush Bay Mau Coconut Village, surrounded by water coconut palms. Enjoy a unique experience riding in a round bamboo boat, navigating the tranquil waterways of the coconut forest. Engage in enjoyable activities such as crab fishing or learning traditional paddling techniques. Arrive at a local cooking school, situated in the village or by the river. Unwind with a refreshing welcome drink and a brief introduction to the cooking session.
Cooking Demonstration and Hands-On Experience: Select 4 dishes from a list of 10 traditional Vietnamese dishes (examples include banh xeo, fresh spring rolls, caramelized fish cooked in a clay pot, fresh steamed rice roll, green mango salad, etc.). Recommend for anyone who likes food! - I had such a lovely time with hung learning about Vietnamese markets, food & cooking. He is a very knowledgeable and friendly fella. The dishes we made were delicious!

Absolutely wonderful. - We LOVED this cooking class. Hung was such a fantastic host- picked us up at our hotel and gave us tons of interesting info.
The visit to the local market was amazing and we learned a lot about all the different produce.
The cooking teacher, Lulu was great- gave lots of help and support and I think anyone would enjoy this, even inexperienced cooks.
The food we cooked was delicious and too much to finish.
Thank you Hung and Lulu for a wonderful day. Highly recommend this experience, especially because it is part of a working village and farm, not just a tourist trap.

10/10 customer satisfaction - We totally enjoyed this cooking class run by a great team who made for a memorable experience. We used cooking techniques we never knew were a thing, and the fresh organic garden produce was amazing.
The best part was savouring so much extraordinary food we had created.

Fun, Delicious and Welcoming Experience - We had a wonderful time at this cooking class in Hoi An — one of the highlights of our trip! It started with a visit to the local market, where we got to see fresh ingredients and learn interesting facts about the local produce.
Mr. Hung was fantastic — very friendly, patient, and always happy to help and answer our questions. The class was well-organized, fun, and we learned to make delicious recipes that we can’t wait to try again at home.
Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Vietnamese cuisine and spend a truly enjoyable time in Hoi An!

Great cooking class experience in Hoi An! - Our cooking class with Hung has been one of the highlights of our visit to Hoi An. Pick up and drop off to hotel; basket boat trip up the river; visit to the marker where we got to try some local foods. Hung shared his knowledge when walking around the market. The highlight of the experience was of course the cooking class with Hung. Hung is a fantastic teacher and of course the food was amazing. We were able to both select x3 starters we wanted to cook and also a main each. Being able to choose what we wanted to prepare was an added bonus. Cooking with a beautiful setting was amazing. And we also had recipes emailed to us on departure! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to do a cooking class in Hoi An! Thankyou again!!

The best day! - One of my favourite days in Vietnam! We loved our experience starting at the bamboo village for a boat trip, it was lovely and peaceful away from tourist crowds (no paying extra for spinning) ! Then to the local market Hung shared lots of knowledge and let us try local fruits! The cooking class was the highlight for me we made so much amazing food and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. A bonus is getting emailed the recipes so we can make them again at home! Thank you so much Hung, I would recommend this tour to everyone!

Great experience - We had a great day. Mr Hung picked us up on time at our hotel and drove us to the family run bamboo basket activity. This meant we had a very peaceful and relaxing ride before the crowds arrived. Then we went to a local market to purchase ingredients. Hung was very knowledgeable and we tasted some of the fruits. He also helped me buy a cute little shopping basket. After the market we went to the cooking class where we had a welcome drink, sitting looking out at the beautiful vegetable garden. Then we started chopping and cooking with two lovely friendly ladies who guided us through the recipes. We chose three starters and one main from the list. After the starters were finished we sat and ate. Then it was on to the mains. After the class, we were taken back to our hotel. It was a really enjoyable day, lots of fun and some great tips. Highly recommended.

10/10 - My friend & I had one of the best days in Vietnam during this experience. The authenticity of going to the market to get your ingredients was great! The owner was very knowledgeable and taught us many things along the way. As a fruit lover he introduced me to different exotic fruits which I got to try at the market too! The cooking class it self was also very lovely & just today I've remade the yummy salad 😋. Would highly recommend for all travellers.

Great people - delicious food - The trip in the small boat across the river was great as we booked the early tour so nothing was going on.
Hung then took us around the market and told us lots of interesting things about food and culture.
The subsequent cooking class with Tui was great! There were 10 dishes to choose from, everyone could put together their own individual 4-course menu. It was very delicious and a lot - so best not to have breakfast!:)
