Faifoo Restaurant VN Cooking class in Hoi An — YES! - Sublime! A must do in Hoi An. If you love to cook and eat, please book this experience. So yummy — and we made it all ourselves! Such fun! The chef instructing us was so gosh and nice and spoke perfect English. Also such a great value! We all were so so happily full when we left. YES!

Enthusiastic about food, excited about the course - We ate in the restaurant in the evening and spontaneously decided to go for the cooking class because we were so enthusiastic about the food. We were not disappointed;) The tour of the Vegetable Village was very informative and our guide and cooking course instructor Ngoc brought us closer to life there in humorous white. The short round about the market, where the guide buys some of the ingredients, was not so spectacular for us personally, but we have also been to several foodmarkets before. Great was the cooking class in 1. floor above the restaurant has taken place. There you have a nice view over the river if you are not looking in your pan or at your cutting board.;) You really make the complete dishes yourself (except for a few small pages prepared for us by Ngoc). The 3 dishes (one consisting of fish or mushroom and eye bergine stew, both prepared separately) are really a lot to eat and in the end we had to fight a bit. Especially the Vietnamese pancakes and the spring rolls have been particularly delicious for us. The dishes are then provided to one with QR code. With us it was not possible to open them with the eSIM, but in the WLAN it worked (with advertising) without any problems. If you like the Vietnamese food and are interested in cooking something like this at home, such a cooking class is absolutely recommended.

Fantastic tour & cooking workshop! - We had a fantastic tour of the farm with a nice explanation of everything that grew there. Then we walked with Ngoc through the local market to get fresh products for cooking. Then we started cooking extensively, including springrolls, rice pancakes, grilled fish and fried eggplant (as are also on the menu in the restaurant). The explanation and help was clear and in good English. Not unimportantly, the food was delicious! We would recommend this to anyone, also suitable for families with slightly older children!

Best cooking class we did in Vietnam - An excellent day, informative and great fun. The 4 dishes we were taught were brilliant. Thank you to Susan and her amazing chef and guide ( embarrassingly I have forgotten his name)

Great experience with poor follow up - Loved the experience of learning about the fresh produce and cooking vietnamese food. However I am still waiting for my photos and the recipes. The guide asked me to use the qr code. All I get is a request for my credit card. Not doing thay
